Infant daughter of my brother, Peter, who then lived in Lower Paxton Twp., Dauphin Co. PA. This was the first time I administered this holy ordinance." See Graham, A. A, "History Of Richland County, Ohio" (Mansfield, Ohio, A. A. Graham & Co., Publishers, 1880), Cass Township, Page 777, which reports: "Fireovid, Eliza Ann, Mrs., widow of Levi Fireoved; her maiden name was Eliza Ann Bucher; she was born in Dauphin Co., Penn., March 8, 1828 ; her father, Peter Bucher, moved from Pennsylvania in 1829, and settled in Richland Co., where Eliza spent her childhood, with her parents, until she was married to Levi Fireoved, Dec. 21, 1848 ; they had seven children-Solomon P. Fireoved, born Sept. 15, 1850 ; John Albert, June 7, 1853; William Henry, March 6, 1856 ; Amos Franklin, Dec. 16, 1858 ; Levi Orin, July 14, 1860; two infants, born and died shortly after ward ; Solomon F. Fireoved, died Aug. 5, 1862. Her husband, Levi Fireoved, died June 18, 1863; Amos Franklin Fireoved, died June 27, 1863; she has thus tasted her cup of sorrow, but has the consolation of the remaining children; her son Levi Orrin is the only son at home."

Weed was born about 1865; Dennis Weed was born about 1868; Charles Gray Weed was born in March 1871; Roland B. Weed was born about 1871; Hezekiah Weed was born about 1874; and George H. Weed was born on 01 February 1878; Walter Weed was born in April 1879; and Eva Weed was born in September 1884. All the children were born on Deer Isle, Hancock County, Maine. Charles married Ella Sarabelle 'Ellie' Eaton on 14 October 1899. Ella and Charles had three children. They were: Gardiner Weed; Vivian O. Weed; and Marcella W. Weed was born on 11 February 1905. He married Rebecca Shoup, 25 Dec 1969, Las Vegas, NV. The announcement of their marriage in "The Press Gazette" (Hillsboro, OH) on 17 Feb 1970, pg. 4, provides a nice summary of Lawrence's education and career:
Miss Shoup And Dr. Willhide Marry
Of interest to Hillsboro and Highland County music lovers is the announcement of the marriage of Miss Rebecca Shoup and Dr. J. Laurence [sic] Willhide, which took place on Christmas Day at the Chapel of the Bells in Las Vegas, Nev. Announcements have been received from the bride's sister, Mrs. Elizabeth Shoup Belden, Dayton.
The bride is the daughter of the late Arthur Augustus Shoup and of the late Anna Ozias Shoup. A graduate of the Cincinnati College Conservatory of Music, where she received a bachelor's and master's degrees,she is a professor of music at the University of Cincinnati.
Dr. Willhide is the son of the late Dr. Laurence [sic] E. Willhide and of the late Bertha Betz Willhide. A graduate in music of Oberlin College, he holds a bachelor of science degree from the University of Cincinnati, master's degree in music from the Cincinnati College Conservatory, and a doctor's degree in philosophy from the University of Southern California. For many years he was dean of the Cincinnati College Conservatory, and was prominent in the artistic and musical life of the city. He is a music editor of the Fearon Publishing Co., Palo Alto, Calif., where he and his bride will reside.
Dr. Willhide was a frequent guest in the home of the late Edward T. Powell and the late Jessie March Powell, and gave a number of outstanding concerts in Hillsboro. A native of West Union, he has served on Metropolitan Opera auditions board and has travelled widely in Europe seeking talented artists for this country.
