[55924] Richard's obituary: "Bucksport- Richard K. Ames, 80, passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family at home on Monday February 3, 2020. He was born on March 20, 1939 in Castine the son of Maxwell and Imogene (Shirley) Ames. Richard was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother and uncle. He loved his family and was the love of his wife Pamelas life. He was a humble, stubborn, proud man. He served in the Air Force for 8 years. Richard managed Webber Tanks for 17 years and worked and retired from the papermill. He was an entrepreneur who loved to paint pictures using oil paints. Richard is survived by his loving wife Pam, three children: Richard K. Ames II and wife Jen, Lynella Ames and Kelly Ryan Ames, 8 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren, 6 brothers and sisters along with many nieces and nephews."
