A daughter of the late Jacob and Catherine Schreffler Seiler, she was born in Klingerstown July 10, 1873. Her husband, Simon Haas, preceded her in death in June 1948. Surviving are one daughter, Mrs Charles H. Shaeffer, of Pitman; two sons, Harry C., with whom she resided, and Lloyd Haas of Harrisburg; nine grandchildren, fifteen great-grandchildren, and five great-great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m Monday in Salem United Church of Christ, with burial in the adjoinmg church cemctery in Klingerstown, RD. Rev. J. C. Glessner, of Leck Kill, her pastor, will officiate."
