Robert Nelson
[49375]
Ella is daughter of James Brown (1851-1925) & Amanda Ellen Scammell (1851-1928).

Did Jemima live more than 104 years?
[46321]
Find A Grave memorial 20712442 offers: "Arrived in America in May 1635 (8 weeks old) on the Ship "Susan and Ellen". He came with his parents 1608 Simon Crosby & 1610 Ann Brigham - Simon had a brother William. He married 1640 Sarah Fitch in 1662 - they had 1667 Sarah (Crosby) Sears & 1673 John Crosby, among many other children."
[52688]
Erma's obituary: "Bridgewater - Erma Mae (Green) Bradstreet, 89, passed away at home on Friday, May 28, 2021, surrounded by her loving family. She was born on May 18, 1932, in Bridgewater, to Harley and Lillian (Bridges) Green. Erma attended Bridgewater schools. On April 7, 1951, she married Douglas V. Bradstreet and raised a family of nine children. She was a dedicated wife, mother and grandmother and was affectionately known as 'Grammy Erma' to many throughout the community. She never missed a birthday party, school concert or program, graduation, or sporting event until the latter years when her declining health prevented her attendance. Her warm heart and inviting home were always open as she welcomed family, friends and guests alike. Erma enjoyed being a homemaker, caring for her children, grandchildren and their families. She adored any child that passed through her arms. Her door was always open and she welcomed everyone. She was always willing to set an extra place around the table, while you may have entered her home as a stranger, you were blessed when you left. Grammy Erma was the center of our family and leaves behind a legacy of love. She had a kind and generous heart, a listening ear, and a loving voice that could always be heard offering one more 'I love you' as you went out the door. She was a member of the Free Baptist Church of Bridgewater, and would begin each day by reading the 23rd Psalm.

"Lewisburg Journal [Lewisburg, PA], 23 May 1929," p. 8: "Isaac G. Seiler, prominent resident of Selinsgrove, was fatally injured when the Ford coach in which he riding was hit by a Reading train above New Columbia, at 4:35 o'clock Thursday afternoon. He died at the Geisinger hospital, Danville, at 7:30, less than three hours later. Mr. Seiler, first superintendent of the sfate highways in Union and Snyder counties, since his retirement helped out when needed in various highway operations. For the past weeks he was in charge of oiling roads in the upper end of Union co. He left his work and started home in the late afternoon, arriving at Shower's crossing, where many accidents have occurred, just as the Cannon Ball Express had passed. He did not notice another train following the express, which happened to be the special of Superintendent Farrel, of the Shamokin division, carrying division officials. The locomotive hit the Ford car and crushed it to debris. Mr. Seiler was hurled through the windshield, and carried a distance of 75 feet. His head was crushed, but his body was not mangled. It is believed that he did not expect another trin, because of passing of the express, and drove on the track without looking to the north. There is a fair view of the road in either direction at that point. The crossing however, has no protection of any kind. The train was stopped and the injured man taken to West Milton. There he was given medical attention and a special train was made which took him to Danville, whence he was rushed to the Geisinger hospital. Efforts to save him were unavailing, and death came without his regaining consciousness. Mr. Seiler was aged 65 years, and is survived by his wife and one son, Albert D. Seiler, who conducts a printing establishment at Mt. Joy. Mrs. Seiler has been ill for years, and her condition is now critical. She is at the home of her son. His ardent love of outdoor life made him the most conspicuous hunter and fisherman in Snyder county, his fame in that particular extending throughout central Pennsylvania. He was associated closely with Tom ter, Bellefonte editor and sportsman. Mr. Seiler was a staunch Republican, and through the influence of Judge Witmer, received his appointment during the administration of Dr. Hunter as highway comissioner of Pennsylvania. He brought to that position industry, enthusiasm for good roads, and his work was altogether satisfactory."
