[29353] "Miller, Callender and Related Families," by Michael K. Miller in http://wc.rootsweb.ancestry.com, offers: "Catherine Nagle, fifth child and third daughter of Peter and Barbara (Imler) Nagle, was born in Reading July 4, 1784. On October 14, 1804, Catherine was married to John Schwartz from Lancaster County, Pennsylvania, by Rev. H.A. Muhlenberg at Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church with Peter Nagle and George Notz as witnesses. The Reading Weekly Advertiser, October ?, 1804, carried the announcement: 'Married on the 14th October 1804 by the Rev. Mr. Muhlenberg, Mr. John Schwartz of Lancaster County to the amiable Miss Catharine Nagle, daughter of Peter Nagle, Esq. of this borough.' John and Catharine (Nagle) Schwartz had two children before John's death, which probably occurred early in 1807. On October 25, 1807, Catharine Schwartz of Reading married Jacob Kimmel of Lancaster County, Pennsylvania. The marriage is recorded in the private records of Rev. Philip R. Pauli. Not much is known about either of Catherine's husbands. Family tradition says that Jacob Kimmel's father and grandfather were part of the Ephrata Cloister Community but that has not been verified. What is known is that Jacob and Catherine (Nagle) Kimmel lived in northwestern Schuylkill County, Pennsylvania, and raised a family of five girls and one boy." (Marion Nagle Rhoads and Janet Snyder Welsh, Joachim Nagle And His Descendants, Mennonite Family History, 18 West Main Street, Elverson, Pennsylvania; 1990, page 158). Catharine; married ____ Kimmel; they settled near Pine Grove, Pennsylvania." (William Henry Egle, Egle's Notes and Queries of Pennsylvania, 1700s-1800s, Fourth Series, Volume II, CX, page 47). "Sacred to the Memory of Catharine Kimmel, wife of Jacob Kimmel, July 4, 1784 - April 5, 1848, age 63 years, 9 months, 8 days." [789] He is also Henry III of Champagne. When Henry's daughter and heiress married a son of King Philip III the County of Champagne lost its independence. Philip III had already issued directives to the 'baillie' of Champagne and soon the 'Jours' of Troyes were staffed by royal officials and the county was in effect a royal province. Champagne and Navarre passed through Henry's daughter Jeanne to her son, Louis X, thence to his daughter Jeanne, who was dispossessed of Champagne by Philip V (1316).
