[30373] The unverified Day Family Tree in Ancestry.com in 2015 offers: "When Francis Ann Day was born on March 17, 1836, in Jennings County, Indiana, her father, Charles, was 20 and her mother, Delilah, was 20. She married Henry Snell Freeman on October 9, 1851, in Jennings County, Indiana. They had 16 children in 28 years. She died on December 22, 1891, in Arkansas County, Arkansas, at the age of 55."
[19568] Joan is daughter of Thomas, 5th Baron Fauconberg (b. 1345, d. 1407), and his wife Joan Bronflete. Her father and mother are both descended from Magna Carta Sureties and from Charlemagne, according to "Plantagenet Ancestry of Seventeenth-Century Colonists - Second Edition," David Faris (Boston: NEHGS, 1999), p. 15, which states that Joan was reported to be "a fool and an idiot from birth" and that her mother's father is Thomas Brounflete, Knight, of Londesborough and Weighton, Yorkshire. See http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Thomas_de_Fauconberg,_5th_Baron_Fauconberg.
[11318] He was killed in battle. Antoine is fourth in direct descent from Louis, Count of Vendome and Chartres (d.1446); Louis is fourth in direct descent from Jacques, Count of La Marche and brother of Pierre I, Duke of Bourdon (d. 1356). The noble family of Bourbon is named from Bourbon l'Archambault, chief town in a lordship which was one of the largest in 10th century France - its first known lord was Adh‚mar of Aimar, invested with the barony near the end of the 9th century. [54366] "The Bangor Daily News [Bangor, Maine]," 19 February 1943, p. 7: "The death of Leslie C. Gray, 74, occurred Thursday at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Donald Sproul, on Stillwater avenue after a brief illness. A native of Deer Isle, Mr. Gray moved when a young man to Castine where he followed the sea for many years. He later moved to Brewer where for 20 years he was chief engineer of the E. H. Blake yacht, and afterward was employed as a mechanic on the Bangor & Aroostook Railroad for 20 years until his retirement about two years ago. After his retirement he bought a farm in Lagrange, where he had since made his home. He is survived by his wife, Grace L. Gray of Lagrange; four daughters, Mrs. Victor Vereault of Brewer, Mrs. James Griffiths of Bar Harbor, Mrs. Donald Sproul of Bangor and Miss Ethel Gray of Lagrange; a brother, Augustus Gray, and a sister, Mrs. Lottie Banks, both of Hartford, Conn,; and several nieces, nephews and grandchildren."
