[28795] "The Greene Family of England and America..." (Boston: privately printed, 1902), pp. 9-10 states Sir Henry was Lord of Boughton Manor, three and one-half miles north of Northampton. http://freepages.genealogy.rootsweb.ancestry.com/~agrandchildsheritage/greene.html provides his ancestry and reports Henry was Lord Chief Justice of England in 1353 under King Edward III, was Speaker of the House of Lords in two Parliaments (1363 & 1364), and became last of the King's nearest Counsel, or "State Cabinet". [Some scholars give his dates as Chief Justice as 24 May 1361 through 28 October 1365.]

[7769] The Perry County Democrat, 24 January 1940, p. 3: From the Lewistown Sentinel - Benjamin F. Rickard, owner of the saddler shop of 25 Valley Street for the past 30 years, passed away at Lewistown Hospital Sunday after noon, January 13, at 2.45 o'clock, aged 81 years, 5 months and 22 days. Mr. Rickard, whose residence was at 307 Valley street, fell while crossing the street in front of his shop on Thursday noon, the result of a slight stroke. Assisted to his home, he grew steadily worse and was taken to the hospital on Friday. Mr. Rickard was born at Loysville, Perry county, and as a boy learned the trade in his fathers saddler shop. He was united in marriage with Miss Anna Katherine Hench, also of Loysville. They came to reside at Reedsville where Mr. Rickard was manager of the James H. Mann Company store. In 1894 they removed to Lewistown. Thirty years ago Mr. Rickard purchased the saddler shop of Thomas J. Novinger and conducted the business on Valley street until he was stricken on Thursday noon. He was a familiar figure on Valley street as he went to and from his shop, never missing a day, for he had not been ill in the past 40 years. Mr. Rickard is survived by his wife. who is now seriously ill at the home of her son, also by one son and a daughter, George H. Rickard, Prothonotary of Mifflin county, 226 Logan street, and Mrs. Marian Jones, of Philadelphia. Two grandchildren are living. One brother and two sisters also survive Mr. Rickard: James C. Rickard, of Blain, Perry county: Mrs. Frank Lightner and Mrs. Annie Showvaker, both of Harrisburg. He was a member of St. Johns Lutheran church. Due to the illness of Mrs. Rickard the funeral services will be private. . . Interment will be in St. Marks cemetery.
[45853] Henry's birth information is from "Maine Births and Christenings, 1739-1900." Database. FamilySearch - http://FamilySearch.org. This file states Henry is son of John Williams and Hannah.
