Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at the chapel of Higby-McQuiston Mortuary in Aurora. The Rev. Ron Harris will officiate. Interment will be in the Richland Cemetery south of Marquette. Danny Ray Archer, the son of Raymond and Donna (Eastman) Archer, was born at Aurora on Aug. 16, 1955, and passed away in Aurora on April 15, 2015, at the age of 59. Danny was the sixth child of 14. Danny received his GED on June 30, 1993, in Colorado. Danny worked in the health care industry. In Nebraska, he worked at Park Place in Grand Island, Barth Hotel Assisted Living and Med Aid as the wellness director. Danny was united in marriage to Barbara Ann Mazel Tolles in Sidney on Feb. 14, 1985. They were married 22 years before Barbara passed away on April 17, 2007. He was preceded in death by his father, Raymond Archer; mother, Donna Archer Spangler; stepfather, Dale Spangler; wife, Barbara Ann Archer; two brothers, James and Robert; a sister, Lillian Crawford; three nieces and a nephew. Those left to cherish his memory are his two stepchildren, Randy of Pleasanton and Brenda of North Platte; five grandchildren, D.J., who was raised by Danny, Christy, Travis, Wally and Eric; seven brothers, Richard (Kim), Jerry, Ronald, Donald (Christy) and Kenneth (Lisa), all of Marquette, Mike (Kathy) of Georgia and Dave of Lincoln; three sisters, Audrey (Steve) Gerdes of Aurora, Evonne King of North Carolina and Sherri Archer of Marquette; and numerous nieces and nephews."

Ser vices were conducted by the Rev. J. F. Hoover, pastor of the Reformed church, of which Mrs. Erdman was a member. She had been a patient sufferer for many weeks and the end came peacefully Saturday evening while she slept with members of the family at the bedside. In her passing this community has lost one of its best known and highly respected residents. The community joins in extending sympathy to the bereaved sons and daughter."

[16601] Nathaniel moved to Concord, NH in 1739. Nathaniel had a younger brother named Nathaniel who died in infancy, 1715-1716. Nathaniel died of smallpox, one of 6 family members who had the disease together and were confined to the "Pest House" which later became the school. Nathaniel m. Sarah Burbank, b. after 1715 in Haverhill, whose family moved in her infancy to Concord or Hopkinton, NH and were members of First Church, Rumford, NH.
