[21932] Phillipia is said to be of Heddingdon, Oxfordshire. [She and Thomas are said by http://www.lfnewby.com/peverell to be the parents of Joan Basset (b. ca. 1204) who m. Richard Plantagenet, but this appears unlikely as her Phillipa would have been in her forties and as we know the three wives of Richard Plantagenet.]

[52615] "Bangor Daily News [ Bangor, Maine]," 4 January 2023: "Bucksport - Darrell D. Rollerson Jr., 75, passed peacefully December 28, 2022, with his loving family by his side. He was born in Castine, Maine, son of Darrell Rollerson Sr. and Ruth (Wardwell) Rollerson on January 16, 1947. Darrell graduated in 1965 from Bucksport High School. Upon graduation he continued his education at Wentworth Institute of Technology in Boston, earning a degree in Machine Processing Technology. He later earned a bachelor's degree in Industrial Technology and Management from the University of Southern Maine. Darrell began his professional career at Maremont Corporation (Saco Defense) in 1974 as an engineer and general foreman. 10 years later his career path took him to a Unitrode Corporation, a company that manufactured semiconductors as a facilities manager. A mere shell of a structure with a dirt 'floor,' Darrell was charged with building this new plant from the ground up. He was ultimately promoted to Operations Manager of Unitrode. This experience launched what would become a significant aspect of the duration of his career where he successfully oversaw the construction and startup of several manufacturing facilities in Maine, Iowa and California. Darrell concluded his career at UFP Technologies as General Manager, retiring in 2012. Upon graduating high school, Darrell married the love of his life, Carol Davis. Their loving relationship began much earlier with a first dance at their 5th grade social at Jewett School. Darrell used to love to say that when he first saw Carol in kindergarten on the playground that he knew she was special. Together for more than 56 years, they grew up together, married, raised two daughters, had a successful career and traveled extensively. Over time, their relationship grew and strengthened, their love deepening, as two became one and will last through eternity. An athletic and active man, Darrell played football, basketball and baseball throughout high school. He continued with the same competitive spirit by playing competitive racquetball for years while living in Saco. Additionally, boating, skiing, golfing, scuba diving and bike riding, were some of his other active pursuits. One of his favorite memories was boating out to Ram Island in Castine, for the annual 4th of July large family gathering that happened rain or shine! In later years, his greatest enjoyment was bike riding hundreds of miles with Carol on trails in Iowa, Illinois, Wisconsin and Minnesota. Proud of his career and even more proud of his family, Darrell loved spending time with his daughters and grandchildren. An incredibly warm and loving father and grandfather, he approached family time with a heart full of playfulness, adventure and storytelling. He would do anything for anyone and offer endless encouragement and advice if needed. With his incredible sense of humor, meticulous gardening expertise, and ''epic' hot, spicy, garlic pickles, Darrell will leave a legacy of love and laughter for all to remember. Darrell is predeceased by his parents, Darrell Sr. and Ruth Rollerson; sister, Diane Spencer; and brother, Rick Rollerson. He is survived by his devoted wife, Carol; daughters, Denise (Jeffrey) Schaper and Marnie (Thomas) Searway; four grandchildren, Heath Schaper and partner, Jessee Meek, Molly (Patrick) Haggerty, Hazen (Arianna) Searway, Molly Searway; two great-grandchildren, Maverick Searway and Isabel Haggerty; and two sisters, Judy White and Marnie Lord. There will be no service at this time. Darrell had a special wish to be interred together with Carol in a graveside service; their ashes combined as a testament to their enduring love."
