Abraham Jacob Schneider, b. 3 July 1723. In 2004 http://members.aol.com/rogercubs/stuppoutline.htm reports that George immigrated aboard ship "Lydia" arriving in Philadelphia 27 Sept 1740. [See "Pennsylvania German Pioneers...," Ralph Beaver Srassburger (Camden, ME: Picton Press, 1992), which shows him on this ship as "Daniel Schnyder, age 19.] He arrived on this ship with Christoph Geist who became father-in-law of his granddaughter, Maria Catharina Schneider. Daughters: mentions 'my 6 daughters and the heirs (not named) of deceased daughter Mary', but mentions: 1) all that certain plantation and 243 acre tract in Mahony Twp, Northumberland County, adjoining Christopher Hedrich, John Bingeman, and Jacob Brosious (to son Nicholas); 2) all that certain plantation and 125 acre tract whereon the testator now lives in Bethel Twp, adjoining Jacob Bortner, John Koble, Jacob Swope, and other land of the testator, together with the house clock now in the house (to son Jacob): 3) all that certain plantation and 150 acre tract in Bethel Twp, adjoining William Kreachbaum, Daniel Hofman, Jacob Bortner, and other land of the testator (to son George Daniel): 4) the still kettles and vessels belonging to the stills and still house (to son George Daniel: 5) the water from the upper place (devised to son Jacob) is to be used by son George Daniel for the still, etc. Executors: sons Jacob and George Daniel.
