Frost and Bernice (Small) Frost Kerber. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II. Alton sold cars in the area for many years and owned several grocery stores in the area. He was a charter and life member of the Military Order of Purple Heart and the Joshua Chamberlain Chapter. He was a member of the American Legion Post of Bangor, VFW Isaac Clewley Post No. 4917, the Bangor Lodge of Elks, the Brewer Eagles Club, St Andrew's Lodge No. 83 Scottish Rite Bodies, Valley of Bangor, Maine Consistory 32nd Degree, Anah Temple Shrine, the Bangor Brewer and Orono-Old Town Shrine Clubs. Surviving are four children, Alton Jr. and his wife, Roberta Frost of Hampden, Charlene and her husband, Paul Herrick of Hampden, Mark Frost of North Sanford, Nancy Frost of California; four grandchildren, four great-grandchildren; a sister, Sandra and her husband, Donald Rogerson, and a brother Edward and his wife, Laura Frost."
