B. B. Baird in charg.e Interment was in Aurora cemetery. . . . Emma Brillhart was born in Freeport, Ill., on August 12, 1852. In 1874 she was united in marriage to John K. Strohm. In 1885 she came with her husband to Hamilton county where she lived until her death, September 3, 1931 in Aurora, Nebr. Mrs Strohm was the last of a family of twelve children. She was a member of the Aurora Christian church and attended its services when able. She leaves behind her husband and a host of relatives and warm friends."

[1359] His wife, Mary ____, died 20 January 1649/50 in New Haven, CT, had six children; Ezekiel m. (2) 18 Nov 1652 Ellen Lathrop (sister of Capt. Thomas Lathrop of Beverly) who d. in Boston 10 Sept 1706. He was the famous Master of the Boston Latin School, member of Emmanuel College, Cambridge University, came to Boston and then New Haven (where he was one of 12 founding members of the church, 6/39), moved several times in teaching career ending at Boston Latin School as Master 38 years. See "Goldthwaite Genealogy," Charlotte Goldthwaite (1899). NEHGR CXV:254-5 presents information about Ezekiel and reports that he was b. in London and that he received a third of the Latin books of the Rev. Ezekiel Culverwell, a well known Puritan divine, through the donor's will. "The History of Salem, Massachusetts," Sidney Perley (Salem, MA: 1928), Vol. 3, p. 141 reports that he settled in Boston in 1637 and then moved to New Haven, then Ipswich, and then Charlestown, and then back to Boston where he died.
