[31027] Louisa's parents are from the unverified Hutto Family Tree in Ancestry.com in 2012.
See the unverified file G4CD-T7V in familysearch.org which includes this note:
Genealogical Dictionary of Maine and New Hampshire identifies him as a son of Richard1 and Hannah (Haley) Wescott, and a grandson of Andrew1 Haley of the Isles of Shoals; investigation, should be undertaken of the possibility that he was a son of Daniel Wescott of the Isles of Shoals and Portsmouth NH. Baptism 3 Mar 1728 Kittery, York, Maine, USA as an adult. Marriage 19 Apr 1729 York, Maine, USA Deborah Webber.
22 Jul 1730 Andrew Wescott of York purchased a three-acre tract at Cape Neddick, York, from [his brother-in-law], Joseph Webber, for £28 on 22 July 1730; witnessed by William Wescott, the brother of Andrew who moved to Falmouth (York Co. Deeds 13:809-10).
21 January 1716 Margaret Tucker accused Andrew Wescott of fathering two bastard children. Margaret, a daughter of Nicholas and Jane Tucker of Kittery, was unwed in 1717 (will of Nicholas Tucker, dated 21 January 1716/7 and probated 2 April 1717, York Co. Probates 2:
4 Oct 1726 Margaret Tucker and Andrew Wescott were brought before Justice William Pepperell to answer for the crime of bastardy "[a]ppearing & being Sworn Continued Constant in Said Accusation face to face [but] not being Yet delivered w'th Said Child" York 6:23
3 Jan. 1727 Andrew Wescott "being Accused of being the father of a bastard Child begotton on the body of Margaret Tucker" (York Co. Ct. of Com. Pleas, 4 Oct. 1726, 6:237; 3 Jan. 1727, 6:241).
Sep 1729 Andrew Wescott, house carpenter of York "formerly of Kittery," "reputed father of a bastard begotten on the body of Margaret Tucker"; the court ordered Andrew Wescott to pay support (York Co. Ct. of Com. Pleas, 18 Sept. 1729).
4 Mar 1730 Andrew apparently failed to pay as a warrant was issued for his arrest on 4 March 1730 (York Co. Ct. of Com. Pleas, Jan. 1730, 7:123).
Jul 1732 In the July 1732 court session, Andrew Wescott of York was again charged with the crime of "fathering a bastard child, having begotten on the body of Margaret Tucker of Kittery." (York Co. Ct. of Com. Pleas, July 1732, 9:71 .)
On 19 May 1732, the selectmen of Kittery acknowledged receipt of £50 with a surety conditioned on four payments for the maintenance of "Hannah, daughter of Margaret Tucker of Kittery, then being 3 years and 19 days old." (York Co. Ct. of Com. Pleas, 19
He had two children with Margaret Tucker out of wedlock:
1 Josiah Tucker
2 Anna or Hannah Tucker
His wife Deborah had first an illegitimate son Joseph with Jacob Perkins.
Jacob Perkins subsequently denied the accusation, posted a bond of £50 support, paid court fees, and was "acquitted" (possibly only dismissed after posting the bond). (York VR, 33; York Co. Ct. of Com. Pleas, 7 Jan. 1717[/8];
On 1 April 1718, "Deborah Webber Junior" was brought before the court "for having a bastard child." She accused Jacob Perkins of York and Wells (born 1685) of fathering her son, Joseph Perkins, born at York on 8 February 1717[/8].
The court ordered that she "receive Ten Stripes on her naked back at the post & pay fees of Court 8s, or pay a fine of 30 shillings and fees . .. " (York Co. Ct. of Com. Pleas, 1 July 1718, 5:208)
"Deborah Wescoat, wife of Andrew Westcoat of York," is mentioned in her mother's will, dated 23 April 1737 and probated 19 May 1747 (York Co. Probates, 7:76--77).
She was living as late as 20 October 1760 at York when she co-signed a deed with her husband (York Co. Deeds 34:75). The place and date of her death are unknown.
