[56702] "The Ellsworth American [Ellsworth, Maine]," 29 July 2024: "Mark Christopher Higgins, 53, of Old Town, Maine, passed away unexpectedly on July 13, 2024, in Prospect. Mark was born August 11, 1970, in Ellsworth, Maine to the late James and Margaret Higgins (Groleau) of Surry. Mark spent his childhood attending Surry schools until high school where he attended George Stevens Academy in Blue Hill, graduating in 1989. After high school, Mark went into the workforce and found true happiness working for Hancock County Sheriff's Department. Many years later, deciding he needed a change, he found he had a love for the hearth world, working for Sunrise Home and Hearth. Mark would later go out on his own, servicing and installing hearths throughout the area. That continued until 2007, when he combined forces with some longtime friends and family, opening Evergreen Home and Hearth in Ellsworth. Mark always had a way of going after opportunities when they would present themselves. He happily worked alongside this amazing group of people until 2016. These people were not simply friends, together they became one amazing family. After the company sold in 2016, Mark began working for Husson College in Bangor as a security officer, rising to the rank of sergeant. Mark was very proud of the work he did at Husson and took great pride in helping to keep the students and Husson community safe. Over the years Mark had a few other endeavors which meant a great deal to him. Most recently he started and owned a professional organizing and cleaning company, MCH Organizing in Bangor, Maine."

[59166] Lovina is daughter of Stephen W. Tibbetts (1813-1873) & Lovina Ruth Hooper (1815-1898). File K2LG-MSK in familysearch.org lists these children with Hiram: Hiram Frederic Gray (b. in 1856), Herbert Leslie Gray (1861-1918), Rosa Aremeda Gray (1862-1925), Lillian J. Gray (1873-1916) & Maurice Clifford Gray ( b. in 1876).
[10820] For her ancestry and genealogy, see http://www.thepeerage.com/p5711.htm. http://en.wikipedia.org offers in 2008: "Caroline was better known as The Great Landgräfin, a name given to her by Johann Wolfgang von Goethe. She was befriended to several writers and philosophers of her time, such as Johann Gottfried Herder, Christoph Martin Wieland and Goethe. Wieland wished he had the power to make her Queen of Europa. She also had contact with Frederick II of Prussia, and she was one of the few women that the Alte Fritz respected. He called her once the Glory and Wonder of our century and after her death her sent to Darmstadt an urn with the text femina sexo, ingenio vir (A woman by sex, a man by spirit), which can still be seen today. Through her daughter she is an ancestor to the royal house of Prussia, Germany and the Netherlands."
