[57419] Priscilla's obituary: "Machias - Priscilla (Farris) Look went home to be with her Lord, quietly and peacefully, on April 24, 2018. She was born August 20, 1922, to George and Lila (Maker) Farris, grew up in Cutler and graduated from Washington Academy. She worked her early years in the shipping department of the family owned A.M. Look Canning Company. Priscilla spent her life beside her loving husband, Shirley E. Look, until his death in 2003. She was involved in her church, teaching Sunday school and being active in the Awana Program. She raised a family of four of her own children; Ronald (deceased), Sheila Griffin (deceased), Isabel Piger of Williamsville, N.Y., and Claire Day and husband, Wade of Bucks Harbor. Priscilla, along with Shirley, raised two nephews as her own, Malcolm Holmes and wife, Katherine, of East Machias, and Eric Holmes and wife, Jill of Jonesport. Priscilla was predeceased by a sister Isabel Cates, a brother Robert Farris, a son in law Crail (Pete) Piger and a son in law Clarence (Happy) Gardner; she is survived by a brother John Farris and wife, Ruth of Cutler, as well as numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Her later years, were spent at the Grace Home in Harrington and then at East Point Health Care, in Machias where many wonderful people loved her and shared in her care. She was a sweet lady and was easy to love. Although her memory suffered, she never lost the ability to remember the love of her savior, Jesus Christ, demonstrating her dedication by singing 'Jesus Loves Me', with Eric on her last birthday."

Obsequies were conducted from the home of his son, Harvey N. Troutman, with further services in the Aline Evangelical Church, where interment was in the adjoining cemetery. Rev. Louis M. King, pastor of the Freeburg Reformed charge, and Rev. Joseph P. Sheesley, pastor of the Port Trevorton Evangelical charge, officiated. Mr. Troutman was aged 88 years. He was a retired farmer and for the past seven years resided with his son, Harvey N. Troutman, who conducts a general store in Freeburg. Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Foster Straub, of Grubb's Church; and Mrs. Charles Wilt, of Hoffer; four sons, Harvey, Charles, Samuel and Harry, of Freeburg."
