[22529] Louise Staley offered on RootsWeb in 2002: "Charles Fitch-Northern in his "A Revision of the Grenville Pedigree" D&C Notes & Queries, Vol. XXXIV - Autumn 1979, pp.154-161, has this to say about Joice Beaumont - 'Sir Theobald is stated in the 1620 Visitation pedigree to have married Jois, daughter of Thomas Beaumont. A Beaumont marriage is probable. Otherwise it is difficult to account for the entry in Sir George Carew's Scroll of Arms, dated 1588 listing the arms of Beaumont of Sherwill, Devon: "barry of six vairry arg. & bleu, 3 bars g." which, he states: "this coate standeth in Bideford Church." Here, all the early armorial belong to the Grenville lords of the manor. But no Thomas Beaumont of this family appears to have been born before ca. 1367. Sir Theobald was a witness in 1372 to a deed by Dame Jane Turberville, who was the wife of Richard Beaumont of Sherwill, to her son John Beaumont. As against these clues, the statement by Roger Granville that Theobald married a daughter of Thomas Beaumont, Earl of Mellent (in France) appears pretentious! " The Beaumont of Sherwill line is poorly understood. It is clear however that Joice was not related to the French earls of Mellent as claimed by some Grenville authors. I am not aware of evidence for her father being James Beaumont of Warwickshire however I assume this James is part of the earls of Warwick line and I believe this to be highly unlikely given the relative unimportance of the Grenvilles outside Cornwall."

[40055] "The Perry County Democrat, 4 December 1912," p. 3: "Elizabeth Kough Warner died of dropsy and old age at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Rosa Salsbury, near Bloserville, Cumberland county, November 27, aged within a few days of 82 years. She was the widow of Henry Warner, who preceded her to the spirit world eight years ago. She had been a resident of Perry county until after the death of her husband, since which she made her home with her children, being in Cumberland part of the time. She was the mother of ten children, nine of whom survive. One sister. Mrs. Fannie Kistler, of Blain, is also living. She was a consistent member of the Bethel church which she attended regularly as long as her health permitted. She was a good, kind mother and neighbor. Her remains were buried on Saturday in the cemetery at St. Peter's church, Spring township, this county."

[44877] Find A Grave memorial 173113401 offers: "He was born on July 18, 1925 in Harrisburg, PA to the late James W. Minick, a noted central Pennsylvania architect, and Leah Minick Zimmerman Walker. Dean studied aeronautical engineering at California Institute of Technology, mechanical engineering at Cornell University, and industrial design at Syracuse University, where he earned his degree and returned to teach after graduation. He was a member of Phi Kappa Sigma Fraternity.
An inventor/designer with several patents to his name, Dean worked at AMP Incorporated, and later as Vice-president of Capital Products, Inc. One of the highlights of his career was working with world-renowned Buckminster Fuller on the geodesic dome project. In mid-life Dean became a stock broker and he retired as an Executive Vice President from Morgan Stanley in 2000. A proud veteran of World War II, Dean served in the Army Air Forces 2017th Ordnance Maintenance Company, stationed on the island of Biak in the South Pacific for nearly two years. In his later years, he enjoyed attending reunions with his Air Force buddies and being a member of the the Last of the Good Guys club of local veterans and classmates. Dean also greatly enjoyed debate and discourse on nearly any subject one could imagine, travel, building model airplanes and listening to jazz."
