[12043] News-Journal [Mansfield, OH}, 18 May 1978, p. 10: Samuel H. Stafford, 80, of Ashland, RD 4, died yesterday at Ashland Samaritan Hospital following a nine-month illness. Mr. Stafford was born in Ashland County Dec. 22, 1897. Ile was a member of St. Michael Lutheran Church in Mifflin. He was a retired farmer and had been an employee of National Seating in Mansfield for 18 years. Surviving are his wife, Rita Sheriff Stafford; a son, William J. of Ashland, RD 4; three grandchildren; two great-grandchildren, and a brother, Adair of Mansfield.
