She married Allen in 1954 and they resided in Ashland, Maine. She and Allen relocated to Bucksport in 1966 where they raised their family and she retired from Champion International. She loved when all of her children and grandchildren gathered together with her. She loved her flowers (especially her rose bushes) and working on puzzles of any kind. Sheila is survived by her six children, Emery Deabay (Marie) of Bucksport, Janice Clark of Old Town, L. Ann Deabay of Bangor, Dawn Hester of Lewiston, Nancy Whitney (John Parsons) of Hermon, and David Deabay of Levant. She is also survived by five grandchildren, Elaina (Deabay) Rife (Peter Stradinger) of CA, Mitzi (Clark) Wallen (Matt) of SC, Benn Clark (Stefanie) of Bangor, Megan Whitney of Hermon, and Casey Whitney of Saco; plus one great-granddaughter, Kylie Grace Clark of Bangor and Old Town. She is also survived by her sister, Freida (Emery) Chase of Westbrook; and sister-in-law, Pauline (Saucier) Deabay of CT. She has many nieces and nephews too numerous to name. Sheila was predeceased by her parents; her husband, Allen; sons-in-law, Stephen Clark and Rick Hester; and sisters, C. Judith (Emery) Nadeau and Edwina (Emery) Layton."
