Everything she did was done with grace and a genuine devotion to care. Elaine continued her nursing career while bringing five children into the world and had a way of making everything special. She was an extraordinary seamstress and talented cook and made every holiday and birthday so beautiful and special. While residing in Wesftord, MA, Elaine volunteered at the schools, church and was a member of the garden club. She went on to complete a bachelor's and master's degree in HCA. Elaine and Clarence retired to Alfred, Maine, where she continued to serve the public as a member of the historical society, the town of Alfred's Zoning Board of Appeals, Festival Committee and was secretary of the Alfred Republican Committee. [6482] His sister, Jill, reported in January, 2001: "Jack Everett Goode attended public schools in the Augusta, Maine area until moving to Jacksonville Beach, Florida in August 1965 with his mother and sisters. He did not finish High School but went into the Army. Later he got his G.E.D. while in the Army. He served two years five months and eight days. He was stationed overseas in Korea and served time in Viet Nam. It is said that Viet Nam changed a lot of the Soldiers and had many affects on each of them. I feel Jack was no exception. He was not the same after returning home for Viet Nam. Jack worked as a heavy equipment operator for companies in the August, Maine area after being honorably discharged from the Army September 11, 1968 and again after being honorably discharged April 25, 1972, and remained in the Augusta area until his untimely death. He was a warm, kind and loving man to his family and friends." Baptised in Prince of Peace Lutheran Church, Augusta, he was later a Methodist." Jack m. Jeanne Gail Solberg.

[24156] The Cahill Family web site at Ancestry World Tree in 2004 offers a confusion of ancestry for Margery, but she is apparently granddaughter of Robert Morley (b. ca. 1373, d. by 14 Nov 1403) and Isabel Moleyns (b. 1360 in Arundel, England to William I de Moleyns and Margery Bacon). Robert Morley is shown as son of Thomas de Morley and Cicely Bardolf (q.v.).

He died before 862." See Roderick W. Stuart, "Royalty for Commoners: The Complete Lineage of John of Gaunt, Son of Edward III, King of England, and Queen Philippa" (3rd Ed., 1998), 315-39.

Their two daughters, Ada Margaret Hutchison and Rosella Hutchison Nolin played an important role in the life of Schutz School and mission service at various stations in Egypt. Dr. & Mrs. William Nolin and their children lived at Schutz School in Alexandria. Dr. Nolin was part time superintendent and the rest of his time was spent as Treasurer of the American Mission, with an office in downtown Alexandria. Mrs. Nolin taught music and other subjects as needed. The Nolins served in Egypt from 1922 to 1958. Ada Margaret Hutchison began as a boarding student at Schutz in 4th grade and later was a short-term teacher when Schutz was in Assiut from 1946 to 1949. Rosella Hutchison married Ken Nolin and they returned to Egypt in 1955, where they served with the mission of the United Presbyterian Church for 15 years. In 1970, after leaving Egypt, they settled in the Mon Valley, where she worked at Brownsville Hospital and also for several years with Albert Gallatin Hospice. On Friday I attended with others who had served in Egypt the beautiful memorial service held at the Claysville United Presbyterian Church for Rosella Nolin. (Schutz Class of 1942) Rosella planned her service that included solos by grandson Ben Shopland and our singing together 'Ill Fly Away'. This was what her daughters Susan, Sharon, and Rachel sang to their mother as they held her hand as she flew away. On Saturday, along with others we attended the amazing memorial service held at the Presbyterian Church in Washington, PA for Ruth Nolin. (Schutz Class of 1943) Ruth managed the laboratory and later the radiology department at Tanta Hospital in Tanta, Egypt. Her work there lasted 15 years and was cut short by the 1967 Arab-Israeli War, when all U.S. Citizens left Egypt. Her final employment was at Washington Hospital where she worked for 21 years as supervisor of the hematology department. Ruth also planned her service and at her request it was music, music, music highlighted by nephew and baritone soloist Benjamin Shopland. The special Postlude was Toccata from Fifth Organ Symphony played by Paul Jacobs who is head of the organ department at Juilliard. - 7/26/2014, Jean Stultz"
Kenneth's obituary: "Kenneth Edward Nolin, 88, died Tuesday, September 15, 2015, in his home at Strabane Trails Village, Washington. He was born August 26, 1927, in Seattle, Wash., a son of the late William Wallace Nolin and Ruth Hemenway Nolin. Mr. Nolin's parents served as missionaries to Egypt with the Presbyterian Church, and his early years were lived in a boarding school for missionary children from Egypt, Sudan and Ethiopia. One of his significant memories involved a ship trip with his mother and three siblings by way of Cape Town, South Africa, to New York, traveling in total darkness to avoid German submarines and evacuate from Egypt before Gen. Rommell and his troops invaded during World War II. The Nolin family then lived for a time on Vashon Island near Seattle. He completed three years of high school under the shadow of Mt. Rainier. The family then moved to New Concord, Ohio, where he studied at Muskingum College. After graduating, he pursued theology studies at Pittsburgh-Xenia Seminary for an additional three years, and upon graduating, moved to Portland, Ore., where he was ordained and served a church for two years. Moving back to Pennsylvania, he married Rosella Mae Hutchison in 1954. The couple moved to Hartford, Conn., where he pursued Arabic and Islamic studies, earning a masters in arts and later a doctor of philosophy at Hartford Seminary Foundation. Mr. Nolin served for 15 years in Egypt under the United Presbyterian Church. He traveled widely in the Middle East, encouraging dialogue and understanding between Christians and Muslims. Returning to the United States in 1969, he served small churches in Bethlehem Parish, including Clarksville, Millsboro, Vestaburg and Beallsville, until retirement at 1991. After retirement, he and his wife moved to the family farm in East Finley Township, where they lived, worked and enjoyed family visits until his wife passed away in 2014, and he moved to Strabane Trails Village. During retirement, he remained active, serving five years as an interim pastor at Upper Ten Mile Presbyterian Church in Prosperity. He was an amateur beekeeper, master builder of tree houses for children and grandchildren, avid reader and a faithful choir member of Claysville Presbyterian Church until his death. Deceased are his wife, Rosella; a brother, Wallace; and a sister, Ruth. Surviving are a sister, Nancy; three daughters, Susan (Mark Shopland), Sharon Nolin (Larrabee Strow) and Rachel; a son, Douglas (Marlene) Nolin; eight grandchildren, Bethany Shopland Hurley, Benjamin Shopland, Scott, Erin and Ryan Gillespie, Daniel Bald, and Eric and Kelsey Nolin; two great-grandchildren, Nolin and Anna Hurley; and three beloved young people who affectionately called him 'Grandpa,' Hanum Wensel Strow, Anthony Kehathilwe and Felix Noy."
