He was born in Brewer October 28, 1943, the son of Norman W. and Mary (Doyle) Bragdon. Robert graduated from Brewer High School, class of 1962. In 1964, he joined the United States Army and served two years. He went to work for Eastern Fine Paper from 1966 to 1968 and then worked for the United States Postal Service for 31 years. He retired in 1999 as the Postmaster of the Eddington Post Office. He was predeceased by his parents; wife, Linda; son, Jonathan; brothers, Bernie and Billy Bragdon. Robert is survived by son, Joel and wife, Kris, and their children, Emma and Zachary; son, Daniel and wife, Veronica, and their son, Sully; stepdaughter, Marie Hughes and family; sister, Joan Colmer; sister, Joyce Thebarge and husband, George; several nieces and nephews."
