[18030] The 1940 federal census of Coatesville, Chester Co., PA lists Harold and his household, including his father, John McFarland (age 74). The unverified Irwin/McFalls Family Tree in Ancestry.com in 2018 offers: When Harold Wayne McFarland was born on January 12, 1898, in Coatesville, Pennsylvania, his father, John, was 32 and his mother, Mary, was 29. He married Mary Emma Townsley on March 7, 1925, in his hometown. They had two children during their marriage. He died in February 1965 at the age of 67, and was buried in Coatesville, Pennsylvania.
