He was born Sept. 17, 1932, in Plymouth to Clarence and Ila Donnenwirth, both now deceased, and was a lifetime area resident. Mr. Donnenwirth was retired from the Mansfield-Ontario General Motors plant, where he worked for 32 years. An Army veteran of the Korean War, he was a member of the Plymouth United Methodist Church, American Legion and Masonic Lodge. His interests were family, fishing and gardening. He is survived by his wife, Marjory Laser Donnenwirth; two daughters and sons-in-law, Laura and Michael Burk of Plymouth, and Julia and Chuck Huggins of Bucyrus; a daughter, Jill Donnenwirth of Plymouth; a son, Jacque E. Donnenwirth II of Plymouth; a brother, Desmond Donnenwirth of Shelby; a sister, Shirley Taulbee of Plymouth; and five grandchildren."
