[9759] Daniel m. (1) March 18, 1875 Mary Elizabeth Scott (1858-1891) and (2) in 1898 Mrs. Saphronia Jones (d. 1918). Daniel was in Kansas in 1904 and in Oklahoma in 1921 per siblings' obituaries. Daniel and Mary had four childen - only the eldest had children, Charles Garman Daron, b. Dec. 27, 1875, d. May 20, 1941, buried in McPherson Cemetery. "The Democrat-Opinion [McPherson, Kansas]," 28 July 1922," p. 1: "Daniel B. Daron a pioneer resident of the Centennial community died at the home of his son Charles Daron on East Elizabeth St., Sunday morning. Mr. Daron had been in poor health since he suffered a stroke last April, and his mind became affected. He had been a little better and was up town Friday. The family went to church Sunday morning and when they returned they found him laying on the side porch dead, with a gun beside him. He had found the gun in the basement and shot himself. Mr. Daron's death was a great shock to his many friends. He homesteaded near Centennial in 1874. In 1898 he went to Oklahoma where he remained until six years ago when he returned to McPherson and has since made his home with his son."

[46552] "The Bangor Daily News [Bangor, Maine]," 5 November 1946, p. 15: "Discovered by a resident in the next apartment when she did not appear about her morning tasks, Mrs. Mabel Tyler, 72, was found dead in her bed yesterday morning at her apartment, 67 Center street, where she had lived for 18 years. Dr. H.C. Scribner, a county medical examiner, said death was due to natural causes. Mrs. Tyler had been down town Saturday and attended Sunday services at the Universalist church, of which she was an active and devoted member. She was the widow of Clarence Tyler of Newport, who was in business in this section for many years. Surviving are two cousins, Mrs. George Brewster of Dedham and Willis Goodwin of Whitman, Mass.; and several distant relatives."
