Brian Hogan (hogan@writeme.com) shared Elizabeth and John as parents of John Burris - via email 6/2001. He also shared many of their descendants. See PA Magazine of History, 31:215-253 which gives the family.
Pat Mason Harris offered via email (PatCLARE@aol.com) 15 Aug 2004: "The only Burroughs mentioned are on page 252, and they are the children of John Burroughs and his wife Ester/Esther. The children have the same dates as a couple posts on Genforum.....so I am sure the dates of birth are correct, but the parents are John Burroughs and wife Ester/Esther Burroughs, at least on this Bible record ...now it is possible from some of the other entries that it might be Esther Bibbe and not Elizabeth....since there is an Esther Bibbe with a birthdate of 16 Nov 1710....and from Rootsweb I find John Burroughs born about 1709. Esther Bibbe would have been most likely the daughter of Mary Bibbe who was the widow of Edmund/Edmond Bibbe....and that Mary Bibbe married William Manlove. There is an entry next to Esther Bibbe for Matthew Bibbe b 19 Jan 1712/13. Mary Bibbe married William Manlove on 6 December 1716. William Burroughs, born in 1738/9 and died in 1797 I am pretty sure is in my family....I think he was married to Mary Mason b 1748 , daughter of Joseph Mason of Isaac , because Sarah Burroughs was married to Jacob Mason, son of Joseph Mason of Isaac. But Sarah Mason Burroughs is proven by the will of her mother Ann widow? Burroughs who marries second George Waller. Sarah Mason Burrough's second husband was Morgan Williams... I had assumed these Burroughs/Mason marriages were brother and sister marrying brother and sister ??? Jacob is married to Sarah Burroughs who next marries Morgan Williams. Mary is married to William Burroughs...Mary must die after 1785, because when William Burroughs dies in 1797, he is married to Rachel; Rachel Burroughs next marries Charles Mason, another son of Joseph Mason b 1722 of Isaac....and brother to Mary Mason of Joseph of Isaac. Burroughs and Masons had a close relationship....Isaac Mason b 1753 of Abraham of Isaac went to Monongalia Co VA by 1781....I know there are Wallers and Burroughs out there, too."
Here are some more things on the Burroughs family...I have seen them spelled Burrows and Burris:

[48902] The Ellsworth American [Ellsworth, ME], 21 July 2021": "Franklin - George Thurston Pickard Jr., 81, passed away peacefully on July 6, 2021. George was born April 27, 1940, in Bangor, the son of George Pickard Sr. and Beulah (Meserve) Pickard. George is survived by his two sons, George Pickard III and his companion Anna Walls of Franklin and Scott Pickard and companion Debra Doughty of Eastbrook, and his daughter, Deborah Pickard, and her companion Stacey Curtis of Lamoine. George had eight grandchildren: Damian, Justin, Ryan, Cathy, Devi, George, Anna and Matthew. He also had 13 great-grandchildren. He loved all his grandchildren and great-grandchildren dearly! George was always a hard worker and great provider for his family. He worked the majority of his life in the blueberry business, mainly at the former Agvest in Franklin. Whether working in the factory running the engine room or on the fields running the equipment he was always an exceptional worker and took pride in the job he did. He also gained a lot of great friends and memories. George not only had a huge heart, but he had a huge sense of humor. He truly loved to laugh, and his laugh was infectious. His laugh itself was funny and could brighten anyones day. His laughter will be dearly missed. After retirement he enjoyed camping with his wife and going to Linwood in Gouldsboro to listen to music. He also loved to do little buildings projects in his shop. He was able to attend a few races to watch his favorite drivers, the Carney Boys. He would get quite excited to retell the details of the races, especially if they won! George was predeceased by his wife, Kay, his four sisters, Patty, Dinny, Sandra and Judy, his daughter-in-law, Trudy Pickard, and his grandson, Damian Pickard. Also his beloved dog of 17 years, Sandy."
