[2047] Theodora was NOT married to Theodoric, who was married to Audefleda, daughter of Childeric, King of the Franks. One source gives two illegitimate daughters for Theodoric: Theodogotho (m. Sigismund, King of Burgundians, 516-523) and Arevigni (m. Alaric II, King of the Vivigoths, 507- ). Apparently Theodoric took a concubine since his wife was barren. Theodora is reputed to be a Gothisia Princess in Spain.

[16095] http://www.medsca.org/olaf/frameset.html reports in 2002: "Harald Grenske was slain in approximately 996 AD, and Åsta soon after remarried to a petty king called Sigurd Sýr of Oplandene. Oplandene is the inland districts north of Viken, a location that is rather uncertain due to the size of it. Whether this is Ringerike or not, we can't be absolutely sure about, but a contemporary conserved source, the scald Sigvat, describes the beginning of the Battle of Stiklestad in 1030 AD. He called King Olaf the 'Hringa gramr', which literally means 'Prince of Ringerike' or perhaps rather 'Prince of the Hringarí tribe'. This would certainly account for Ringerike. Along Åsta and Sigurd, Olaf also had a foster father called Hrane the Far-Sighted. Having a foster father was a common thing to have amongst the Scandinavian aristocracy at that time.
