She was born on September 25, 1933 in Blue Hill the daughter of Emma (Cotton) and James W. Leighton. Mabelle enjoyed cooking and she also loved to knit hats and socks for friends and family. She is survived by her two daughters; Carrie Doane and husband Dana and Amy Turner and husband Edward, one granddaughter; Violet Grindle and husband Isaac, two great grandchildren; Abigail Grindle and Andrew Grindle. One sister; Sharon Gray and one nephew William Gray and wife Lisa. Along with several cousins. In addition to her parents she was predeceased by her husband Kenneth Gray, two sons; John F. Bartlett Jr. and James C. Bartlett."

Catherine Condon (d. 9 Dec 1877 at age 75 yr, 6 mo, 17 days); Mighill served in the War of 1812 and d. 26 Feb 1882 at age 87 and is buried in Penobscot's Hillside Cemetery."
