Jackie was born Sept. 16, 1931, in Meriden, Conn. She moved to Seal Cove to raise her family. Jackie worked for many years at Tremont Consolidated School as a custodian and as a school bus driver. Her proudest accomplishment was opening Hodgdon's Seafood, which she and John ran for 20-plus years, making many lifelong friends out of customers. Her favorite times were spent with family, her children, her grandchildren and her brothers. Jackie is survived by her brother, John E. Morris of Meriden, Conn.; her daughter, Peteranne, of Ellsworth; sons, Thomas of Cherryfield, Wayne of Lamoine, Mark of Seal Cove and Michael and Sue and their children, Ian and Jordan, of Seal Cove; many nieces and nephews.
