[21419] Raoul was Seneschal of France and deserted his wife, having their marriage annulled in 1141 after an adulterous affair with Petronilla. His first wife was Eleanor, sister of Count Theobald, who took her case before the Pope and when Raoul refused to return to Eleanor the Pope excommunicated Raoul and Petronilla.
