[57569] "The Bangor Daily News [Bangor, Maine]," 4 October 2022: "Glenburn - Donald W. Hogan, 76, passed away peacefully October 2, 2022, surrounded by his family and dog, Cooper (CBA) at the Gosnell Memorial Hospice House in Scarborough. He was born August 20, 1946, in Milo, the son of Harold J. and Joyce E. (Moore) Hogan. Don loved a nice cold beer, his special cookies, lobster, playing cribbage and horseshoes, cutting wood and living in the woods, playing cards, collecting coins, scratch tickets, critiquing oil prices, and above all his grandkids, Myles (Nipwang), Lennon (Lennah), Maeve (Maeve Maeve Maeve Maeve Maaaaaeeeve), and Wylder (Wild Man). He will forever be remembered for his quick wit and funny one liners. Don had a good saying for everything. He had a heart of gold and lived life his way. He was a great storyteller, often reminiscing about his younger years. Don and his wife of 40 years thought the world of each other. Don is survived by his beloved wife, Karen; daughter, Selina, son-in-law, Ryan, and their children, Myles (7) and Lennon (5); daughter, Shelby, partner, Billy, and their children, Maeve (5) and Wylder (7 mo); best bud and dog, Cooper; and siblings, Ronnie, MaryJane, and Bobby, who all shared many fun memories and stories with Don. He will be deeply missed by many, especially close friends, Tim, George and Phil. He had a special place in his heart for SIL's, Debbie and Kelly. He was predeceased by his parents, Spud and Joyce Hogan."
