He died on December 26, 1768, in Seißen, Baden-Württemberg, Germany, having lived a long life of 80 years. When Ilsabe Wenzels was born in 1696 in Meisenheim, Rhineland-Palatinate, Germany, her father, Johann, was 20, and her mother, Elisabeth, was 20. . . . She died in November 1759 at the age of 63."
