"The Bangor Daily News [Bangor, Maine]," 12 May 1953, p. 43: "Belfast, May 12 - Mrs. Maude Snow, 79, widow of Eugene Snow, died at her home on Bay View street Sunday. She was born in North Brooksville November 10, 1873, the daughter of George and Sophronia (Allen) Blodgett. She is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Lewis Black of South Penobscot and Mrs Walter Fogg of Belfast; four sons, Sidney of North Brooksville, Horace of Boothbay Harbor, Albert of North Brooksville and Harvey of Belfast; 23 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews."
