[11781] "The Bangor Daily News [Bangor, Maine]," 10 May 1934, p. 50: "Clifton, May 9 - Friends in this section of Maine will regret to hear of the death of George F. Archer, Jr., 76, which occurred at his home in Waltham, Mass. Sunday after a very long illness. He was born in Amherst, son of George Fabyan and Emily Archer. In his early life he came to Clifton and for many years was a resident here where he owned and operated a mill. He was highly respected in the community, of fine character, kindly and generous. He married Miss Isabella Henderson of Massachusetts and after a few years of married life in Clifton they went to Waltham, Mass. to reside, where he worked as a mechanic. He was capable of doing almost any thing with wood and iron. He came back to Maine nearly every year for a annual visit to old friends He leaves besides his wife, two brothers and a sister, Winfield."

Seigneur de Joinville. He acquired the avouerie of the abbey of Saint-Urbain. Hermann Bishop of Toul threatened 'Stephano Novi-Castelli domino' with excommunication, for having invaded property of the monks of Saint-Blin at Augéville, by letter dated 1018. Robert II King of France required 'miles Stephanus de Junci-villa' to restore property to the abbey of Montiérender, by charter dated 15 May 1027. - m (before 15 May 1027) --- de Brienne, daughter of engelbert [III] de Brienne & his second wife Alix de Sens. The Chronicle of Alberic de Trois-Fontaines refers to the only daughter of 'comes de Brena super Albam Engelbertus' & his [second] wife as wife of 'Stephano . . . de Vallibus. Dudon abbé de Montiérender recalls the marriage of 'Engelbert de Brienne . . . une sœur vierge' and 'Etienne de Joinville' in a charter dated before 15 May 1027."
