[60265] Eleanor's obituary: "Old Town - Eleanor Louise Perkins, 85, passed away on August 2, 2025. She was born in Orono on October 15,1939 to Arlene (Doughty) & Howard Goodrich. She graduated from Orono High School in 1959 and married Harry C Perkins in the Orono Methodist Church on June 23, 1962. She moved to Old Town and became an active member of the Stillwater Federated Church. Eleanor sang in the choir, attended bible study, helped at bean suppers and was involved in everything happening at the church for over 50 years. She is survived by her three daughters, Farleen Smith and her husband Deane, Valerie Kennedy and her husband Bryant and Miranda Pierson. Grandchildren: Joshua Moore, Jessica Werner and her husband Peter, Zachary La Fave, Nathan La Fave and his wife Joei, Noah Pierson and Johnny Pierson. She had several lifelong friends: Pat & Royal Henderson, Fran Mishou and Louise Depew. Eleanor is predeceased by her husband Harry C Perkins on March 15, 2021, and grandson Tylar C Michaud on July 21, 2023. She was an active member of Old Town Grange, Old Town Seniors, Veazie Seniors, AARP, Lincoln Tops, and The Hampden Seniors. Eleanor loved deeply and valued family and friends more than anything else."
