[24118] Information on this line is from Assunta Caso's site on Ancestry World Tree in 2004, and is not verified. This site states that he died in Oxfordshire and was buried the same day in Somersetshire - not likely? It also reports that he was church warden in 1627 according to the Parish Register of Carlton Musgrove in Somersetshire, and gives his eight children, of whom William is eldest. It also reports that William is son of William Haskell, b. 1544 in Wincanton, Somersetshire, d. 1595 in Gillingham, England, m. in Charlton Musgrave in 1567 to Ann Hannah (b. 1543 in Charlton Mushrave, d. in Gillingham), and that they also had Mark Haskell (b. ca. 1568 in Wincanton). [59936] Alice's obituary: "Alice L. Soule, 93, wife of the late Doctor Gilmore W. Soule, departed from this life, Tuesday, May 14, 2002 at Windward Gardens, Camden. Born in Boston, Massachusetts, March 21, 1909, she was the daughter of Reverend Arthur F. and Marion Townsend Leigh. With her minister father, she lived in many communities throughout Maine as he served different pastorates. Her final secondary schooling was in Gardiner where she graduated from Gardiner High School in 1926. She later graduated from Simmons College and in 1930 from New England Deaconess Hospital, School of Nursing. On March 27, 1933, she married Dr. Gilmore W. Soule in Derry, New Hampshire. After her marriage, Mrs. Soule continued her career as a Registered Nurse at the New England Deaconess Hospital. She moved to Rockland with her husband in 1938. As a homemaker, her family was very important to her. She was involved in many community efforts including, volunteering with the Girls Scouts, PTA, Farnsworth Museum, Knox County Nurses Guild, Knox County Women's Hospital Auxiliary and as an active communicant of St. Peter's Episcopal Church. 'My mother rallied for, and was passionately involved in the medical needs of this area,' her daughter stated. Following her husband's death in 1967, Mrs. Soule re-entered nursing as one of the first nurses with Mid-Coast Home Health, now known as Kno-Wal-Lin. In 1994, she moved to the Methodist home and in 1998 moved to Windward Gardens, where she has since resided. Mrs. Soule is survived by one son, Daniel W. Soule and his wife Jeanne Gamage of York; one daughter, Mary Soule Ingalls and her husband John M., Sr., of Cape Elizabeth; eleven grandchildren and seventeen great-grandchildren. Interment will be at Murphys Corner Cemetery, Montsweag Road, Woolwich."

Wilma was born July 24, 1932, in Hampden Highlands, Maine. She was the daughter of Austin and Doris (Patterson) Wing. She graduated from Hampden Academy. Wilma was married to David Eckert for 56 years. Together they had six children: David Jr. of Old Town, Susan Wheaton of Millinocket, Jane Clark of Milo, Sally Eckert of Milo, and Steven Eckert of Lee's Summit, MO. She had 4 grandchildren: Daniel Fleming, Denise Ricker, Karen Sprague and Stacey Cota; and 4 great-grandchildren: Connor Jones, Hunter Beckwith, Waylon Cota and Bryant York. Wilma was predeceased by her husband, David; her parents; siblings, Austin Jr., Elwyn, Ernie, Helen, Lenora and Donna; and her infant son, James. Wilma worked as a pharmacy technician at Daggett's Pharmacy, Brooks Drug, and Rite Aid until she retired. She enjoyed gardening, crafting, cooking, crocheting, knitting and painting. She also loved spending time with her sisters; her granddaughter, Denise; and her best friend, Sue Matson."
