(Marks) Leach. She grew up in Bangor and graduated from Bangor High School in 1962. She then went on to graduate from Husson College in 1964. She spent her life as an entrepreneur, owning a variety of different businesses. She was also an amazing mother and nana who was always involved in whatever her children and grandchildren were doing. Maureen was predeceased by her husband, Herbert M. Gerow Sr.; her parents; and her great-granddaughter, Kloe Hawksley. She is survived by her three children, Milford Hawksley, Thomas Hawksley and wife, Danielin, and her daughter, Lisa Bas. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Ashley and husband, AJ, Amy, Tyler and wife, Heather, DJ, TJ, and Andrew and Danica. She also had several great-grandchildren that were her world. She is also survived by the father of her children and first husband of 40 years, Richard Hawksley; two cousins that were more like brothers, Terry and Danny Brooks; three dear friends of well over 50 years, Lorraine Tarr, Jody Turner, Wanda Groski; and many more family and friends that all held a special place in her heart."
