She married Louis I d'Anjou, King of Hungary and Poland, son of Charles II Robert d'Anjou, King of Hungary and Elisabeth of Poland, in 1353 at Cracow, Poland. She died in 1387 at Dalmatia, Yugoslavia, from drowning while imprisoned." When Louis I died, Elizabeth siezed both Poland and Hungary for her daughters. The Polish nobles insisted that their ruler should reside permanently in their kingdom. At first Elisabeth considered taking up arms, but in March 1383 she accepted the accession of her younger daughter, Hedwig (Jadwiga) as Queen of Poland. In August 1384 some of the Hungarian nobles renounced their allegiance to her. She was under threat from both Sigismund of Luxembourg - whom her husband had designated as Maria's husband - and Carlos d'Anjou of Durazzo-Napoli, who was offered the Hungarian throne. Elisabeth was forced to abandon the idea of the French marriage and accepted that Maria married Sigismund, but it was too late in December 1385 Maria abdicated and Carlos became king, but in February the following year he was deposed, he was wounded and died. She was wrong, her small army was slaughtered, and the queens were imprisoned at the bishop of Zagreb's castle, and this marked her fall from power, and in January 1387 Elisabeth was strangled in her prison. Elisabeth was daughter of Stefan Kotromani?, Ban of Bosnia and El?bieta of Poland, and lived (ca.1340-87)."

[52061] "The Ellsworth American [Ellsworth, Maine], 20 February 2019": "Ellington, Conn. and Franklin - It is with great sadness that we wish to inform you of the passing of our mother, Mary B. Tracy, on Sunday, Feb. 10. She was mercurial, marvelous, maddening and an incredible role model. The daughter of Neil H. and Lenore (Clark) Bunker, Mary was raised in Bar Harbor, where she graduated second in her high school class. When she was 12 she toured the USS Missouri while it was anchored in Frenchman Bay and it was here she met her future husband, Allen. Dates at the roller rink and the beach followed and they were married in 1953 while he was serving in the U.S. Navy. They both attended the University of Maine on the GI Bill, studying hard while raising three children. After she graduated with a degree in education the family moved to Connecticut when Allen took a job with SNETCO. Mary was the chief cook and bottle washer until all the children were in school. Then she began her 30-year career in the Tolland, Conn., school system. She was the librarian in Parker School and Hicks Memorial School and became the first media specialist at the newly built Tolland High School. After retirement, Mary and Allen spent many happy days in Myrtle Beach, S.C., at Donnell Pond in Franklin, at the casinos and following sports, especially the UConn ladies basketball team. She enjoyed the games so much that she and Allen endowed a scholarship for the team. Go Huskies! Mary was predeceased by Allen in 2016. She is survived by her son Christopher of Ellington, Conn., whose compassionate care allowed her to stay in her beloved home of 59 years. She is also survived by her daughter Cheryl and her spouse, Jim Miller, of Bloomfield, Conn., and Venice, Fla., and her daughter Cathy and her spouse, Dianne Waters, of Hancock and Venice, Fla., as well as Allens sister Mary Lou Hodge and her husband, Chuck, of Ellsworth and their family."

He was a partner in Hutchins Brothers Printing Co. of Montville, a selectman in Montville for many years, active in Belfast Tops Club and state king in 1974. He was a former member of Dirigo Grange in Freedom; past master of Unity Masonic Lodge No. 58 of Thorndike; Waldo Chapter No. 7, R.A.M.; King Solomon Council No. 1, R.S.M. and Palestine Commandry No. 14, Knights Templar, all of Belfast. He was past High Priest of St Georges Chapter No. 45 R.A.M. of Liberty. He was a World War II veteran and a recipient of the Bronze Star and Purple Heart. He served with Company K, Maine National Guard in the Aleutian Islands. Surviving are his wife, Marguerite (Sampson) Hutchins of Montville; one son, Roderick Hutchins of Hampden; one daughter, Lois Zezima of Waterville; one sister, Alcadia Dean of Swanville; two grandchildren."
