[46472] Find A Grave memorial 172260798 offers Marjorie's obituary: "Marjorie Louisa Mae Green, 93, of Elkhart, died Friday, November 4, 2016 at East Lake Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Elkhart, IN. The Dover Township, Michigan native was born July 17, 1923 to Amos A. and Annie Mae Jones, who have both preceded her in death. On June 5, 1948, Marjorie married Jack Green, who preceded her in death in 1999. Marjorie graduated from Addison High School in 1942 and continued her education at Carter Secretarial School where she received her degree. She attended the Hope United Methodist Church in Edwardsburg, MI. Marjorie was a member of the Good Sam Club, and worked for the Salvation Army in Elkhart. She did missionary work with Sowers and worked on the Childrens Ranch in Florida. Marjorie loved spending time with her family and spreading the word of God. She enjoyed working crossword and word search puzzles, and spending time in the activities room at East Lake. Marjorie is survived by her children, Eunice Louisa Mae Hillman of Elkhart and Thomas Green of Jones, MI; four grandchildren, Ronald (Denise) Pletcher, Debbie Pletcher, Leslie (Eula) Green, Charity Green; ten great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; and her siblings, Ida Teats and MaryAnn (Garner) Parks. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband of 51 years, Jack; two brothers and two sisters."
