[29095] "A Standard History of Stark County, Ohio...," John H. Lehman, ed. (Chicago: The Lewis Publishing Co., n.d.), p. 684 state Alsaminah "was born on a farm in Pike Township, near Sandyville, Stark County, Ohio, a daughter of David and Margaret (Evans) Cable. Her grandparents on both sides were from Lancaster County, Pennsylvania, and were there acquainted. They subsequently became pioneers of Stark and Turscarawas counties, their lands being situated on the county lines, but it was not until they had settled in Ohio that they found each other and renewed old acquaintance. [the article here lists the children of David and Margaret and their marriages] The Cables are all members of the Lutheran Church."

[773] "A Pedigree of the Foresters and Fosters," 2nd Edition, Joseph Foster (1871), p. 11, states that Sir Thomas, Esq., of Etherston, Northumberland, was "one of the men-at-arms under the Percy banner at Agincourt." Thomas had 19 sons. Jim Weber gives a different ancestry in his 2004 web site at http://worldconnect.rootsweb.com/cgi-bin/igm.cgi?op=GET&db=jweber&id=I29988 stating about Sir Thomas: " Birth: ABT 1395 in Buckton, Holy Island Parish, Durham, England. Father: Robert Forster, of Buckton, b: ABT 1355 in Buckton, Holy Island Parish, Durham, England - Mother: Elizabeth de Orde, b: ABT 1375 in Ord, Berwick, Northumberland, England. Marriage 1 Joan de Elmeden, b: ABT 1408 in Embleton, Sedgefield, Durham, England". http://freepages.genealogy.rootsweb.com/~fosterfamily/foster2.html states: "Sir Thomas Forster married Elizabeth, the daughter of Featherstonhaugh and settled in Hunsden. They had nineteen sons, including Thomas, Roger, and Nicholas. Reginald Foster of Massachusetts, whom we have seen referenced in many sources, descended from Thomas." Cf. "The Royal Lineage Of Our Noble And Gentle Families (principally Devonians). . . ," Joseph Foster, (ISBN: 9781234364885), p. 860.
