George was the son of Jacob and Magadelena Weirick. The census of October 31.1850 shows that George and his wife, Frances Farnsworth Weirick, lived in Springfield Township, Summit County Ohio. Both had been born in Penn. Their children named in the census of 1850 were; Sarah 19, Isaac 17, (Isaac is my direct ancestor), Margaret 15,Frederick 13, Solomon 11, Nancy 5, Lydia Ann 1, all born in Ohio, George Weirick was said to have fathered 15 children. The 8 children not shown in the 1850 census were born in PA prior to 1831. Four of these sons were listed in the 1850 census as living in Summit County. They are:Jacob, William,David and Jonathon, and before the birth of Sarah. The family moved to Summit County about 1829 after the birth of Jonathon and before the birth of Sarah. George Weirick died June 30, 1877 at age 78 years 6 months and 3 days, and was born about July 7, 1799.
