[58084] The unverified file GLSW-19Y in famikysearch.org offers: "When Marion Ruth Grant was born in 1930, in Sherman Mills, Sherman, Aroostook, Maine, United States, her father, Carlton Augustus Grant, was 27 and her mother, Mabel Novilla Parker, was 25. She married Henry Joseph Bouchard on 19 July 1949, in Woodstock, Carleton, New Brunswick, Canada. She lived in Houlton, Aroostook, Maine, United States for about 10 years and Hodgdon, Aroostook, Maine, United States in 2012. She died on 1 June 2023, in Williamston, Anderson, South Carolina, United States, at the age of 93, and was buried in East Hodgdon Cemetery, Hodgdon, Aroostook, Maine, United States." "The Bangor Daily News [Bangor, Maine]," 6 June 2023: "Williamston, SC, and Hodgdon - Marion Ruth London, 93, of Williamston, South Carolina, and Hodgdon, Maine, widow of Herbert L. London, went to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on Thursday, June 1, 2023, while at home surrounded by her family. Born in Sherman Mills, Maine, January 1, 1930, the daughter of the late Carlton A. Grant and Mabel Parker York. Mrs. London is survived by her children, Richard Davis (Faith), Michael Bouchard, Michelle Smith (Otis), and Fred London (Cindy); her stepchildren, Gail St. Phillip, Dian Perkinson, and Saundra London; fourteen grandchildren and twenty-seven great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Herbert L. London; daughter-in-law, Veenie Bouchard, and seven siblings. Marion was a devoted loving mother who never met a stranger, and her home was always open for a strong cup of coffee, a home cooked meal, or freshly made doughnut. She loved the word of God and taught hundreds in Sunday school as well as Bible studies at her home, as attested by all the messages, e-mails, post, and calls since her passing. She did not just call you a friend, but instead showed you her friendship with actions. Whether a place to stay, a hug, a scripture, a word of wisdom, or just a person to talk with - she was always there for all."
