[13747] The census 19 July 1870 of Shamokin, PA lists John (age 28), his wife Mary (age 20) and daughter Rose (age 1), all b. in PA, and reports that John is a school teacher with real estate valued at $1000 and personal estate valued at $200. Find A Grave memorial 44230694 offers: "John K. Haas, of Shamokin, aged 56, a well known business-man, died yesterday from neuralgia of the heart. After graduating at Franklin and Marshall College, he was a school teacher until the Civil War, when he joined the One Hundred and Thirty First Regiment, Pennsylvania volunteers. Later he was engaged in mercantile pursuits in Sunbury and Shamokin. He was a well known Democrat and served in town council. -- Harrisburg Daily Independent, December 8, 1898"

Anne was born on 18 Nov 1643 in Boston and died on 10 Jan 1717 in Newport, RI, at age 73. She was the grandaughter of Anne (Marbury) Hutchinson who was banished from Boston for her religious activities. Ann is buried in Newport, RI, with second husband (will proved 1717) - in Vernon lot with husband Daniel, dau Anne Clark, s Edward Vernon. Children from this marriage were:
+ 10 M i. William Dyer Dr. was born on 7 Mar 1663 in Boston, Suffolk, MA; died on 27 Jul 1738 in Truro, MA, at age 75 and was buried in 1738 in Old North Cemetery, Truro, MA.
