[58772] Malcolm's obituary: "Danny Royal Jr, 66, went home to be with the Lord surrounded by his family October 15th, 2022. He was born March 25th, 1956, in Bangor, the son of Malcolm D. Sr and Lorraine (Trimm) Royal. Danny graduated from Penquis Valley High School, Class of 1974. Following graduation, he went into the Marine Corps, where he served four years as a Jet Engine Mechanic at Cherry Point. Afterwards, he continued his service through the Reserves. Once out of the military, he held multiple jobs over the years, including nearly two decades at Dexter Shoe in Milo. Upon its closure, he obtained his CDL license, finishing his career as a truck driver for Thornton Construction, where he served for nearly 15 years. Other places of service included Pride Manufacturing, Sylvain & Sylvain Lumber Mill, Costigan Stud Mill, River City Trucking, Webber Oil and Pelkey Oil. Danny was an extremely hard worker, working many years for all these companies, giving a 110% to each one until his time there was over. He was known to work overtime and help whenever was needed. Outside of his work, he loved spending time as a woodworker. He also was very active in his faith. He enjoyed reading the Bible and collecting multiple bibles over the years. Danny was also a minister of the gospel and enjoyed sharing the good word of God with everyone, having a home fellowship and childrens ministry at his house for many years, ending with a very active online ministry. He made many close friends throughout the country through serving the Lord and had a huge network online with all of them, which they used to help support each other. Danny was married to his wife, Vicki, for 41 years, and they had two children together; Jeremy Reynolds and Heather Peters. He was a family man, and his grandchildren were a huge part of his life. He loved his family so much, all extensions of them, including those that extended beyond the walls of his home. He was a big jokester, chiming in with his dad jokes and funny expressions. Danny went by many names, little Danny, teacher, brother, son, husband, father, and Grumpy, which is the name his grandchildren gave to him. He was 'a man after Gods own hear', he loved the Lord, he loved his family, and he loved people. From the time he trusted Christ in 1994 until the Lord called him home, he followed the Lord with all his heart. Surviving him is his loving wife, Vicki, and his two children; his son, Jeremy and his wife, Karina Reynolds, their children; Jared and Brandon Reynolds; his daughter, Heather and her husband, Ryan Peters, their children; Jacob and Chloe Peters; his mother and his special step-father; Lorraine and Mike Nutbrown; his siblings; Kendall Royal, Kevan Royal, Donna Estes, and Richard Royal, and his aunts; Louise Larrabee, Cheryl Ford, and Nathalie Lancaster; He is predeceased by his father and his step-mother; 'Danny' Malcolm Sr and Stella Royal; his sister, Tammy Royal, and his other aunts and uncles."
