[16322] David m. Mary Grant and had Michael, Jesse, David G., George, Mary and Margaret. In 1765 he moved to a mill in the valley of the Little Swatara Creek about 20 miles north of Shaefferstown - tradition reports that he had a grist mill in Berks Co. while Washington was at Valley Forge and that he supplied the American army with flour, was paid with Continental currency and went bankrupt. Find A Grave memorial 47249821 offers: "He was a miller by trade and followed his business for several years near Schaefferstown. He then moved to to the Swatara Valley above the Blue mountains in Berks County, about 20 miles north of Schaefferstown. Here he met a neighbor's daughter Mary Grant and they became married. His immediate area there became part of Pinegrove when it was organized in 1771. His name was written Brecht until 1783. In 1784 he moved to Greenbriar county, Va. where he did some farming until his death. SAR Patriot Burial records list his burial as Charles Evans so he may have returned from Virginia before his death. His will was written at Greenbriar County. His father Michael Bright, the elder, emigrated from the Palatinate, Germany, in 1726, arriving here at the age of 20 and settling near Schaefferstown. At that time there were but three counties in the Province of Pennsylvania, Philadelphia, Bucks and Chester. Schaefferstown was in Chester county when the elder Michael Bright(then written as Brecht) arrived, and was one of the oldest towns in the state. In 1729 Lancaster was established, and Schaefferstown was included with that county and later became Lebanon county."

[54524] A note in the file K46T-THY in familysearch.org offers: "Married his cousin. Ezekial was one of the signers of the agreement about building the first Town Meeting House in Harrington. In 1797 he was one of the signers of the petition to have Harrington incorporated. Information taken from the 'Early Sketches of Cherryfield and Harrington,Maine' by A.S. Wiley published in 1893. Copied from part of Town & Plantation Records plus Marriage Intentions from 1814-1842. Information sent to me by Marjory Brown of Cherryfield, Maine. On November 9, 1975 Ted and Marjory Brown went into the Mill River Cemetery to search for Fickett graves. They found the stone for Ezekial buried under three feet of earth and other vegetation. There were also Dinsmore's buried there. According to the 'Narraguagus Valley Families' (working copy 1998) by Marjory Brown, there were two daughters born after 1822 and two children, sex unknown, between 1825 and 1830. This ties in with my grandmother's records (Gertrude Handy) in which she says there were 20 children.Ezekial was one of the signers of the agreement about building the first Town Meeting House in Harrington. In 1797 he was one of the signers of the petition to have Harrington incorporated. Information taken from the 'Early Sketches of Cherryfield and Harrington' by A. S. Wiley published in 1893. Copied from parts of Town & Plantation Records plus a lot of marriage intentions from 1814-1842. Information sent to me Marjory Brown of Cherryfield, Washington, Maine. on 9 November 1975 Ted and Margery Brown went into the Mill River Cemetery to search for: fickett Family graves. They found the stone for Ezekial buried under three feet of earth and other vegetation. There were also Dinsmores buried there. "
[10144] "The Akron Beacon Journal, 7 November 2007," p. B012: "Eleanor E. Heckman concluded her journey in this life on November 4, 2007, two days after the festival of her 97th birthday. She was born in Graysville, Ohio in 1910. Eleanor was preceded in death by her husband of 48 years, Lloyd K Heckman. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Janis L. and Thomas L. Watson of Allison Park, Pa.; granddaughter, Karen L. Watson of Allison Park, Pa.; grandson, Stephen T. Watson of Syracuse, N.Y.; three great grandchildren, David, Michael and Beth Watson, all of Syracuse, N.Y.; and niece, Leah Rae Steger of Shelby Twp., Mich. Eleanor was a long time resident of the Ellet section of Akron, Ohio where she founded and operated Eleanor's Beauty Shop for 15 years until 1968. Eleanor and Lloyd Heckman relocated to Margate, Florida in 1969 where she remained until 2003 when she moved to Allison Park, Pa. Eleanor was small in stature, but possessed a large loving heart and a zest for life. She was an avid reader and was always aware of world and local news. Even after her vision became limited she still listened and discussed nightly news. Eleanor was content with books on tape provided by the blind. She loved and lived life to its fullest. She contained a passion for animals and in her last days talked of her former pets. Eleanor was a member of North Springfield Presbyterian Church and later Oak Hill Presbyterian Church in Akron. She was an active member of Cokesbury United Methodist Church in Margate, Florida, where she participated actively in attending and teaching Sunday school, as well as other activities with the ladies of Cokesbury." Eleanor is daughter of Howard E. Lovell (1882-1912) and Winifred Brister (1890-1912). Ancestry.com offers: "Lovell Name Meaning - English: nickname from Anglo-Norman French lo(u)ve 'female wolf' (feminine form of lou, from Latin lupus) + the diminutive suffix -el."
