"Telegraph-Forum [Bucyrus, Ohio], 22 May 1939," p. 1: "Carrothers, May 22 - Mrs. Mary Brillhart, 88, oldest resident of this village, died Saturday at 2:30 p. m. after being bedfast for the last 16 months following, a paralytic stroke. Death was due to complications. 'Grandma' Brillhart, as she was familiarly called, was a member of Carrothers Reformed church, the Ladies Aid society and was faithful teacher in the Sunday school for a number of years until her health failed. Mary Brillhart was born in Huron county on June 6, 1850, a daughter of Jacob and Rebecca Bessey. On March 14, 1872 she was united in marriage to Robert Brillhart. To this union was born three sons and three daughters. Her husband and one infant daughter preceded her in death. Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Charles Benton and Mrs. Daniel Hager of Carrothers, three sons, Alva Brillhart of Carrothers, Frank Brillhart of near New Washington and Will Brillhart of Bellevue, 15 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 2 p. m. Tuesday at Carrothers Reformed church her pastor, Rev. L. A. Sigrist officiating. Burial will be made in North Union cemetery west of Carrothers."

Mainwaring m. 1670 Mary Moulton (b. 25 Jan. 1651, d. Nov. 1725) - they had Magdalene Hilton (b. April, 1675, d. 4 Feb. 1725, m. in April, 1697 Elias Weare [b. 5 April 1672, d. 10 Aug. 1707]; they had Ruth Weare [b. 6 Jan. 1697, m. Oct. 1713 Moses Banks]). [Mainwaring's wife could be Mary BOULTON.] "History of York, Maine," Charles Edward Banks (Baltimore: Regional Publishing Co., 1967), Vol. 1, p. 302 includes in a section on persons captured by Native Americans " Adams, Mardalen. Daughter of Mainwaring and Mary (Moulton) Hilton and wife of Nathaniel Adams who was killed at the massacre. She was redeemed in 1695, and after her return married twice (1) Elias Weare; (2) John Webber." Cf. Born in Mogadore, he was a life resident of Summit County. He was a member of Star Masonic Lodge 187, Elks Lodge, and the Bethany United Church of Christ. Mr. Robenstine leaves his wife, Irma C; daughter Mrs. Arwilda M. Plautz of Orange, Tex.; son Donald P. of Elmore, O.; sister Mrs. Lola Crandall of Millersburg; brother Paul K. of Wooster, and six grandchildren. Services will be 11 a. m. Monday at Hennessy Funeral Home. Burial will be in Crown Hill Cemetery."
