They were the parents of at least 3 sons and 4 daughters. She lived in Stockton Springs, Waldo, Maine, United States in 1900 and Orland, Hancock, Maine, United States in 1910. She died on 6 September 1918, in Surry, Hancock, Maine, United States, at the age of 92, and was buried in Maple Grove Cemetery, Islesboro, Waldo, Maine, United States."
[59154] Deborah's obituary: "Orland & Dover-Foxcroft - Debbie Hill Gray of Orland and Dover-Foxcroft passed away on March 5th at Saint Josephs Hospital in Bangor after complications with influenza. Debbie was born May 20, 1947, in Dover-Foxcroft to the late Norman and Cleo Hill. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her husband Arthur Gray; son, Adam Thomas, and brother, Barry Esler. She graduated from Foxcroft Academy in 1965, played basketball and was a majorette there. She attended Thomas College in Waterville. Debbie is survived by her two beloved granddaughters, Heather Thomas Gosselin (Ian), and Sierra Cyr Archer (Eric); her great grandchildren, Harper and Hudson LeClair; her sister, Kathy Hill Ames (Russell); brother, Norman Hill (Linda); sister-in-law, Betty Esler; nephews, Jason Esler (Shari) and Ed Chambers (Christine); nieces Lori Lee Esler, Sherry Giles (Karl) and Stacia Mason Fredericks (Tom); great nieces, Breanna Haskins and Sherrice Giles; great nephews, Shawn Esler and Mason Fredericks; and great great nieces, Summer, Savannah and Serena. Her first job in high school was as a swimming instructor at the public beach at Sebec Lake. She worked for several years at the Free Press in Bucksport and then at International Paper Co. Debbie was a faithful TOPS member and will be missed by her friends there. She was always a load of fun and up for anything going, had a great sense of humor and could always come back instantly with a witticism, story or funny story. 'You never think that the last time is the last time. You think there will be more times. You think you have forever . . . But you dont." - Author unknown. Love and enjoy your family. Be kind always. Debbie loved her family and friends, and we loved her too. Rest In Gentle Peace, Deb! As per her request, there will be a graveside service in the Spring at the Dover cemetery. Her ashes will be buried beside her son, Adam."
