He retired in 1955 as president and partner of the Wright Brenet Brush Company. He was a member of the West Wood Presbyterian Church, the Hamilton Rotary Club, the Covenant Lodge, Palmyra, N.J., F&AM, Syrian Shrine, Cincinnati, the Scottish Rite, Cincinnati, and a member and past president of the Hamilton Shrine Club. [19363] http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Eleanor_of_Guzman offers in 2010: "Eleanor of Guzman or Leonor Núñez de Guzmán (1310 in Sevilla-1351 in Talavera de la Reina) was a Castilian noblewoman and long-term mistress to Alfonso XI of Castile. She was the mother of King Henry II of Castile. Eleanor was the daughter of nobleman Pedro Núñez de Guzmán and his wife, Beatriz Ponce de León, a great-granddaughter of King Alfonso IX of León. Her parents married Eleanor off as a young girl to Juan de Velasco. Eleanor's husband died in 1328, at twenty years old. Soon thereafter, in Seville she met King Alfonso XI. He was so impressed by her beauty that he made her his mistress. He preferred Eleanor to his wife Maria of Portugal, daughter of Alfonso IV of Portugal, who he had married in 1328 for political reasons. After Maria's son and heir, the future Peter of Castile, was born in 1334, Alfonso left Maria and lived with Eleanor instead. The humiliated rightful queen resented her unfaithful husband publicly and asked him to show preference for his mistress. The king gave Eleanor: Huelva, Tordesillas, Medina-Sidonia and others, he also set up her household in Seville and was allowed to hear political matters. Many became annoyed by Alfonso's behaviour and as a result, the Pope intervened by making Portugal invade Castile. The King died on the 27 March 1350 and was succeeded by his legitimate son Peter and his wife Maria served as regent. Maria was thirsting for revenge and she got what she wanted. She had Eleanor imprisoned and later executed in 1351. Eleanor's death did not end the fighting though, her son Henry and Maria's son Peter fought each other for Castile, Henry later won and became King of Castile."

A posting in Ancestry.com in 2012: "Some sources list Robert arriving in New England in the year 1621 on the ship Fortune, but his name does not appear on the passenger list; being born 1601 Tredegar, Wales son of Thomas Morgan and Catherine Herbert; other sources have the son of Thomas and Catherine Herbert living in London between 1671-1676.
"Records of Salem first sees Robert in 1636 when he was given an allotment of 20 acres, he married on 27 Jan 1638 to Margaret Norman, b. abt 1620 Somersetshire, England, daughter of Richard Norman Sr and Margaret Alford. Together they had eight children: Samuel m. Elizabeth Dixey; Joseph m. Deborah Hart; Luke m. Susannah Clark; Robert died without issue; Arron died infantcy; Moses; Bethia m. Samuel Weed; Benjamin.
"Robert was admitted to the church of Salem in 1650, he baptized his sons 23 Apr 1650. In 1667 he was one of the founders for the First Parish Church of Beverly. In a deposition in 1671 he gave his age of being 70 years old.(1601 birth year fits with this). Robert died some time between 14 Oct 1672, when his will was written and signed, and 10 Dec 1672, when an inventory of his estate in Beverly was taken."

"The only source I have found so far that mentions a Robert Morgan sailing to Salem is Charles Edward Banks, author of Topographical Dictionary pg 146., who has Robert Morgan Departing from Wrington, Somersetshire, England sailing to Salem, Massachusetts, but he does not mention a year or the ships name.
"In 'A History of Salem, Massachusetts, Vol II 1638-1670' by Sidney Perley (1926), Robert Morgan is listed in 1667 as one of the 'leading men' helping to build a meeting house for a pastor named Mr. Hale before the town of Salem was founded. A Lieutenant Dixey (probably William Dixey, whose daughter Elizabeth married Robert Morgan's son Samuel was also one of these men.
