Hawise, daughter of Robert II "the Pious" King of France and Constance, and that Hawise is mother of William I. In 2007 http://fmg.ac/Projects/MedLands/BURGUNDIAN%20NOBILITY.htm offers: "Renaud [I] de Nevers, son of Landry Comte de Nevers & his wife Mathilde de Bourgogne-Comté (-killed in battle Seignelay 29 May 1040, bur Auxerre, Saint-Germain). 'Landricus…comes' donated property to Cluny by charter dated to [1010] subscribed by '…Rainaldi eius filii…'. 'Rainaldus comes Nivernensis' made a donation to Cluny dated [1028/40] for the souls of 'Landrici patris mei…[et] Matildis matris mee'. 'Landrici comitis, Rainaldi filii eius et uxoris eius, Widoni et uxoris eius Acherada…Rodberti filii Gibaldi' subscribed the charter dated Jun 1023 under which 'Gibaldus' donated property to Cluny. He succeeded his father in 1028 as Comte de Nevers. He was killed in battle against Robert I Duke of Burgundy, his brother-in-law. The Annales Vizeliacenses also specifies that Renaud's wife was the sister not daughter of King Robert II. However, this is chronologically unlikely given that King Robert and his known sisters were born in the 970s, more than twenty years before the earliest possible date of birth of Comte Renaud. Her marriage was agreed by her father as part of his alliance with Landry Comte de Nevers after capturing Auxerre, which the king gave to his daughter as dowry. Julie's obituary: "Trescott - Julie B. Archer, 71,passed away January 14, 2026 after a courageous battle with cancer.
She was born February 27, 1954 in Lubec to Ralph and Helen (Miller) Burns. She grew up in Baileys Mistake where her love of the ocean began. Julie attended the Lubec School System and was a Majorette with the band. On April 24, 1972 she married Dale H Archer. Their early years as a married couple were spent in the Portland area where Julie worked at Fairchild Semiconductor. In 1975 after the birth of their son, Mick, they moved back to Washington County to be closer to family. Eventually building a beautiful home in Trescott. In 1978 they welcomed their daughter, Tabitha, completing their family. Julie was in constant motion her whole life, she had many interests and endless energy. Once the children were in school Julie reentered the workforce. She had many jobs over the years, from making doughnuts at Smalls Doughnuts in Lubec to working as a teller at Machias Savings Bank in Calais. She especially enjoyed her bank customers and missed seeing them after her retirement. Julie also enjoyed seasonal work,along with her family,she raked blueberries, picked balsam tips, made and decorated wreaths. Julie was an avid reader and a volunteer at Lubec Memorial Library for many years, after her retirement from banking she took on the weekly task of cleaning the library, she loved to clean!! She loved all of nature and spent as much time as possible outside 'playing'. Her favorite sound in the world was waves breaking on a shore, it didnt matter if it was an ocean or lake. It didnt matter if they were rolling waves with a gentle lapping on the shore or the crescendo of the pounding surf after a storm, she loved them all!!! Julie enjoyed her many trips, usually with family, she was especially fond of Grand Manan NB she tried to make it there every summer. Trips to New Hampshire to be with her sister were frequent as were trips to California when one sister lived there. She had many interests, to name a few, walking, sewing, hiking, gardening, beachcombing, antiquing and cooking (she was an excellent cook!!) Julie loved growing things and her home was filled with dozens of beautiful house plants!! She and Dale were blessed with twin granddaughters in 2002, she spent as much time as possible with them and enjoyed every moment! Julie and Dale have 2 great granddaughters - sadly her time with them was too short. In addition to her parents she was predeceased by her daughter Tabitha, and a brother Boyd. She is survived by her husband Dale; son Mick; granddaughters Aeva (Kameron) and Sydney (John) ; great granddaughters Lilly and Violet ; brother Greg Burns; sisters- Pam (Wayne) Ashby; twin sister Peggy Mahar( Kim Crossman), Martha Burns, Cathy (Billy) Davidson, Heather Green, and many nieces and nephews. Julie will be sadly missed by all her family and friends. Her energy and beautiful smile will live on in our hearts forevermore!"

[3134] Hugh "was employed in the conquest of Ireland, and for his service there obtained from King Henry II, the whole county of Meath. He was subsequently constituted governor of Dublin, and justice of Ireland. But incurring the displeasure of his royal master by marrying without license the king of Connaught's dau., he was divested in 1181, of the custody of the metropolis. He had two sons (Walter, his successor, and Hugh, constable of Ireland) and two daughters (Maud and Elayne, who m. Richard de Beaufo). Hugh succeeded his brother or father, Gilbert de Laci; Gilbert is son of Emme de Laci through who he inherited from her brother Hugh - this Hugh de Laci had inherited from his brother Walter -- their father Walter de Laci, was a Norman who came into England with his brother Ilbert at the Conquest. Carr P. Collins, Jr., "Royal Ancestors of Magna Charta Barons" (Dallas, 1959), p. 143, states Hugh m. as his second wife a daughter of Roderick O'Connor, 183rd Monarch of Ireland (d. 1198). Hugh's domain, Meath, encompassed 900,000 acres in Ireland, much more than presently in the county of this name. He was born June 27, 1883, at Deer Isle the son of Peter and Susan (Cole) Haskell. Surviving are four daughters, Mrs. Freda Thompson of Rockland, Mrs. Susan Philbrook of Stonington, Mrs. Annie Hutchinson of Stonington and Mrs. Gertrude Severson of Waldoboro; six sons, Maynard, Leroy, and Edwin of Stonington, Ernest of Little Deer Isle, Ulysses of Bucksport and Pearl of Connecticut; seven grandchildren; several great-grandchildren and several great-great grandchildren."
