[44197] "Bristol Banner [Bristol, Indiana], 10 February 1911," p. 5: "Philip Boyer was born in Snyder Co., Penn., June 16, 1844, and died Feb. 3, 1911, aged 66 years. 7 months, 18 days. He was a sufferer from rheumatism for 22 years. He was married to Amelia Ott Nov. 8, 1866 and to this union were born nine children of which two died in infancy and the widow, seven children, eight grandchildren, one great grand-child and one brother survive him. Of the children, Mrs. Abbie Gibson, of Rapid City, S. D., Mrs. Perry Replogle, of Bristol, Mrs. Maggie Roberts, of Adamsville, Mich., Miss Ida Boyer of Elkhart, George and Chas. Boyer, of Bristol, and Edward Boyer, of Osolo township. All were present excepting Mrs. Abbie Gibson who could not be present on account of sickness. Deceased moved to Elkhart in the spring of 1S75 and the following fall moved to Washington township where he has since resided."

[46912] Find A Grave memorial 70379674 offers Marian's obituary: "Marian Borgen-Thumma, 90, died at 9:56 a.m. on Monday, May 23, 2011 at Manor Court Nursing Home in Peoria. She was born August 28, 1920 in Peoria to Jacob and Nellie Crocker Zuercher. She married Henry H. Borgen on August 10, 1945 in Peoria. He died on May 3, 1975. She later married Francis L. Thumma on December 1, 1992 in Phoenix, Arizona. He preceded her in death on March 13, 2009. She was also preceded in death by her parents; three brothers, Arthur Zuercher, Norman Zuercher, and William 'Bill' Zuercher and two sisters, Harriet Gibson and Lillian Montgomery. Surviving are three children, H. Peter (Holly) Borgen of Maple Grove, MN, Constance (Gary) Geick of Brimfield, and Kathryn (Don) LePoidevin of Salem, OR; two step-children, James (Becky) Thumma of Martinsville, OH and Mary J. Edwards or Santa Rosa, CA; one sister, Dorothy (the late Joe) Houle of California; twelve grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren."
