Surviving, in addition to his wife of 60 years of Brewer, are two daughters, Joan Colmer and her husband, William of North Fort Myers, Fla., Joyce The-barge and her husband, George of Windham; three sons, William Bragdon and his wife, Juanita of Brewer, Bernard Bragdon of Brewer, Robert Bragdon and his wife, Linda of Eddington; 12 grandchildren, five great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by three sisters, Mildred Miller, Thelma McMillan, and Catherine York."

Find A Grave memorial 45298298 reports: "Dr. Bryner was a child of three years when his mother died. At the time of his second marriage, Mr. John Bryner removed to Blain, and the son was but eight years old when his father, too, was taken from him by death. His grandfather, Mr. Rice, of Madison township, then took charge of him, and with this kind relative, the boy remained until he was old enough to make his own way in the world. The foundation of his education was laid in the common schools of Madison township, after which his grandfather sent him for three years to the academy at Bloomfield, Perry county. In 1879, having for some time read medicine under the direction of Dr. M. B. Strickler, of Bloomfield, he entered the medical department of the University of Pennsylvania, attending lectures there during that winter, 1879-80, and during the ensuing winter, 1881-82, at the medical college of Columbus, OH, where he was graduated in 1882. Dr. Bryner began practice at New Germantown, Perry county, and in 1886, removed to Ickesbnrg, where he has a very fine practice, not only in the borough but throughout. a large extent of the surrounding country. He is an ex-president of the Perry County Medical Society; a permanent member of the Pennsylvania State Medical Association, and a member-elect of the American Medical Association. Dr. Bryner is a Republican, of decided convictions, but so far from seeking the political loaves and fishes, he has refused to run for office, when solicited. He is a member of the Jr. O. U. A. M. Dr. J. H. Bryner was married in 1888, to Lila J. Wilson, of Ickesburg. They have five children, four daughters and a son. Mrs. Bryner is a member of the Lutheran church. Dr. J. H. Bryner, of Ickesburg, has brought suit for slander against William Hall, of the same place. Mr. Hall is charged with having referred to Dr, Bryner in a public address and held him up as a horrible example. - The Perry County Democrat, Bloomfield, PA, September 27, 1905."

Memorial Services will be held Friday, August 29, 2003, 11:00 a.m. at the First Presbyterian Church, 52 Marshall Street, Coldwater, for Georgia Day, with Dr. James Troust officiating. Mrs. Day was born August 23, 1901, in Sanilac County, Michigan, to Rev. George and Myra Grant Georgia. She was graduated from Croswell High School, then attended Michigan State Normal (Eastern Michigan University) and Cleary Business College at the same time, earning simultaneous degrees in business and education. She taught at Union City High School for five years, spending one exciting summer vacation in New York City working as a Kelly Girl, enjoying plays and sight seeing. She married Ralph Day, June 27, 1926, and they moved to Battle Creek in 1927. The daughter of two ministers, Mrs. Day was a woman who lived a life of great faith. She was active in the Lakeview Baptist Church, having taught Church School classes for forty-five years. She also substituted in the Lakeview School System and taught night school classes in the Battle Creek School System. Georgia was a creative soul - a pastel and watercolor artist and talented seamstress. She loved to garden and was an avid bird watcher. Her grandchildren remember with delight the long-stemmed, deep purple violets that grew in masses in her garden in Battle Creek. She shared her love of art and nature with her family. She was a loving parent, grandparent and a devoted spouse. She had a knack for making each of her grandchildren feel special. Georgia and her husband Ralph spent many winters in Arizona and Florida enjoying sunshine and no snow. While in Florida they attended Detroit Tigers spring training games. She remained an enthusiastic Tiger fan. In 1977, she and her husband moved to Coldwater. They both became members of the First Presbyterian Church and she continued teaching church school for a time. She was a Deacon from 1985 to 1988, and was also active in the church women's circles. Georgia was preceded in death by her beloved sister, Anna Leah Schlappi, her husband, Ralph and her son-in-law, Donald Reppert. She will be remembered by her daughter, Georgann Reppert, grandchildren, Ralph and Jane Reppert, Katherine Reppert, Muriel and Gerry Hice, Joy and Darwin Maurer, six great-grandchildren, three great-great-grandchildren and many friends."
