[30882] Anthony is son of Anthony Morse (b. ca. 1588 in Marlborough, Wiltshire, d. there 21 Nov 1621) and Christian _____ (b. ca. 1580 in Marlborough, d. there in 1630). See "Pioneers of Massachusetts - 1620-1650," Charles Henry Pope (Boston: New England Historic Genealogical Society, 2013), p. 320. Find A Grave memorial 36563893 offers: Born about 1607 (deposed on 31 March 1668 "aged about sixty years;" deposed on 27 June 1674 "aged about sixty years" (this age is at odds with the other two, and should perhaps have been "about seventy"); aged 72 in 1678), son of Anthony Morse. Shoemaker from Marlborough, Wiltshire, who came to Massachusetts Bay in 1635 on the "James" (on or about 5 April 1635, "Anthony Morse" and "William Morse," of "Marlborough, shoemakers," were adjacent entries in the passenger list of the James, about to set sail from Southampton for New England) & settled in Newbury MA. Died in Newbury MA, 12 October 1686. Married at St. Mary's, Marlborough, Wiltshire, 2 May 1629, Ann Cox. "Anne, wife Anthony" Morse died at Newbury on 9 March 1679/80. Anthony Morse was brother of WILLIAM MORSE {1635, Newbury}. On 8 November 1679, in the course of the witchcraft accusations brought by William Morse and his wife, "Anthony Mores testified that occasionally being at his brother's house he was a witness to the things which had happened there." Savage stated that Anthony Morse was "said to have been born 9 May 1606" and to have had first wife Mary. No evidence for either of these claims has been found. - Source: Andersons Great Migration Study Project.

[13760] "The Selisgrove Times-Tribune, 24 April 1958," p. 8: "Albert D. Seiler, 62, of Mount Joy, and native of Selinsgrove, died unexpectedly Monday, while enroute by train to Birmingham, Alabama. Mr. Seiler, who was traveling alone, left Lancaster Saturday by train for Philadelphia, from where he boarded a train for the south. Mr. Seiler located in Mount Joy about 35 years ago, when he purchased the Herald Printing Company. He changed the name to the Seiler Printing Company, which he headed as president until the latter part of 1957, when he sold his interests to the Auto-Kraft Box Corporation. His nephews, Seiler Phillips and James Phillips were associated with him in the Seiler Printing business. Since the sale of his business, Mr. Seiler devoted full time to the development of specialized printing machinery and it was in the interests of this business that he was making the trip to Alabama. In line with this type of work he held office in the Package Printers Incorporated and Tripple Machine Company, Inc., of Mount Joy. Mr. Seiler was the first president of the Donegal Joint School Board; a member of the First Presbyterian Church, Mount Joy; a member of the Board of Directors of Educators Mutual Life Insurance Company; the Lafayette Lodge No. 194, Free and Accepted Masons, Selinsgrove; Harrisburg Consistory and Zemo Shrine. He is survived by his widow, the former Edna Somer; a daughter, Helen, wife of Eric Olson, of Mount Joy; and four grandchildren. Mrs. Marjorie Mitchell, of Selinsgrove; and Mrs. Horace W. Vought, of Middleburg, are nieces of Mr. Seiler." Albert's draft registration 28 May 1918 states he is employed by the state highway department.
