[41872] "Shamokin News-Dispatch [Shamokin, PA], 20 June 1931," p. 2: "Mrs. Caroline Erdman, widow of Daniel Erdman, for many years a resident of Snydertown, widely known thruout the county and who has many relatives here, died last night at the home of her son, Rev. H. C. Erdman, at Burkettsville, Maryland, where the aged woman had been residing for some years. Mrs. Erdman was 79 years of age and, until the death of her husband eighteen years ago had resided at Snydertown, where she was active in the Lutheran church. Surviving are a son, Rev. Erdman, and two daughters, Mrs. Norma Hull, of Sunbury and Mrs. Samuel Arnold, of Fisher's Ferry. The funeral will be held from the home of Mrs. Hull, 212 Lenker Avenue, Sunbury, at 2:00 Monday afternoon with Rev. Charles R. Bowers to officiate. The cortege will proceed to the Reformed church at Snydertown for further services, with burial to follow in the family plot." Caroline is the daughter of John Bahner and Catharine Ferster.

[56286] Find A Grave memorial 245692735 lists his children with Margaret and offers: "Served three yrs in the Revolutionary War. Mark Rideout died in 1850, his wife Margaret died on Oct 30th 1851. An 1850 U.S. Census shows them living together in Pittsfield, just before he died. The ONLY logical explanation is that he was buried with his wife at Carr Cemetary in Pittsfield. Most of the time, Cemeteries do not have records of people buried in Unmarked graves. I feel, he is buried next to his wife, in an Unmarked grave. Mark's Dad & Mom, Nicholas Rideout Sr & Mary Hunt Ingersoll, are supposedly in Unmarked graves at Eastern Cemetary, Portland. Mark & Margaret's son Alexander, and his wife Annis, are buried in Litchfield Plains Cemetary at Litchfield. Mark was 30 years older than Margaret. Mark was born on Aug 5th 1757, and lived till age 92 or 93. Margaret was born in 1787, and died at age 64 yrs & 7 mos."
